OBX Wake & Take — Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills

We had dinner at a local restaurant where we met John and he told us about Wake & Take. Once we heard the concept we knew we had to order. We immediately text Jaclynn, told he which items we were interested in and she responded right away. Fast forward to this morning, Jaclynn was here right as we opened the door bakery boxes in hand. She brought everything into the house for us and the smell was divine! We dove into the cinnamon rolls right away, they were still warm, and everything you’d want a cinnamon roll to be, sweet and fluffy with all that cinnamon goodness. Next we moved onto the scones, lemon blueberry and bacon, cheddar jalapeño! Just the right amount of buttery flakey deliciousness! We can’t recommend Wake & Take enough! 10/10! Been meaning to try this bakery as I met Jaclyn and her food over a year ago at a Christmas market here in KDH and it was as delicious as I remembered! My husband came with me and instead of just buying one or two things, we ended up buying FOUR to share: cheese biscuit, strawberry biscuit, cinnamon roll and a lemon-blueberry scone. Plus an herbal spicy cinnamon hot tea for the cold day. Everything we had was more delicious than the last and we can't wait to go back. To be 100% honest we ordered from OBX Wake & Bake for a meeting because I had seen the FB pictures, and I was dying to try them for myself. It was amazing, they delivered a variety of scones & muffins for a morning Owner Association meeting. Everyone was raving about how good they were, my personal favorite was the Bacon/Jalapeno/Chedder Scone. Everyone was friendly/professional, from ordering (helping us figure out what was the best to serve) to the prompt delivery at 8am. We will definitely be using them again in the future for meetings.
