Slipknot brought the house down. There venue was near capacity from what I could tell. The heat was almost unbearable, The only water fountain I found in the whole place was cleverly hidden in an attempt to force the sale of beer and water . Already there was a 20 dollar extra charge on each ticket that was very poorly explained. I felt betrayed from the start. Why not just add the 20 dollar fee in and make it a flat fee So I was so dehydrated I started having physical issues , heat exhaustion and the hunt for a water source was profound! I nearly lost conscience ness frantic I finally found the only fountain made available. . There has too be some kind of regulation. One fountain for 20 thousand people? I feel their greed too drive sales definitely put my life in danger , searching for that life saving water I dealt with staff that were uncouperative, almost blatantly steering me away from the fountain , I was told once ,"they sell water . For a crazy price and after standing in line for 40 minutes too get the life juice. I had maybe , 10 left after being near the stage and croud locked from violent slam dancing taking place. Something must be done to ensure the public safety and access too free water when there air temperature rises above 80 degrees , after which heart exhaustion and even heat stroke become a serious and present threat too the life of the concert goer. I was left in a very compromising situation. And I see it causing loss of life at some point that can be 100 percent avoided. Not aloud too bring in water , and then have the availability almost at zero. I was scared, and by the time I got a drink the dehydration had caused damage making me I'll and sick for the next two days .. Cory Taylor said we were family yet I was being made too look for a drink and getting no help and Crusty looks and answers from every staff I frantically asked how too get some water! Come on , dead fans...
Read moreHave been here before a couple of times over the years for a few concerts and recently for a women's barrel racing event. That event was awesome and well administered. As far as the concerts we've been to, we normally bought very good seating at what we could afford or should I say, a somewhat reasonable price for the nationally known bands playing. This year Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Billy Strings and two other female groups were playing. I'm sorry I can't remember their names at this time, but they were really good. So when tickets 1st went on sale the best rows sold out quickly. No problem, because I can't justify a $1K for 2 tickets along including food, refreshments, a souvenir, etc. So at the last moment, the day before the concert I bought 2 tickets for the lawn area for $100 ea. thinking these guys are old idols we'll never have a chance to see again. From there it went down hill. The sound system was very good But from our grass, lawn viewing area the performers were only 2 " tall. You could even tell who the lead player was and what instrument they were playing. As the 3rd act, Billie Strings came on. ( In my opinion the best act) It was getting towards evening and the stage was getting very dark. In fact it was like watching a band playing from a large dark closet. Even for the iconic Bob Dylan, who was hidden behind a shitty looking piano. So when total darkness arrives, they finally turn on show lights! He then devotes most of his songs to sadness+ and death. We left after 5 songs. We have been to many huge concerts over the years all over America. Why weren't there any jumbo screens there for us poor folks that weren't 1st in line or couldn't afford a $1K??? But spent $350 on tickets, 2 beers, 2 mixed drinks, 4 street tacos and no t- shirts. Won't...
Read moreThe facility is good for hosting large events, however the seating is very uncomfortable and I always leave the facility feeling grimy and dirty it feels like there's a huge amount of dust in the air, but if you need an event here it's convenient and has a sizeable seating capacity. All it needs is better seating really and then it'd be pretty alright. The athletics, shape and design look pretty cool from the outside and the hallways and consesions are some of the better ones I've seen. One major flaw is that there are charging stations and all of the Apple charging cables have been ripped off and so have most of the up to date charging points in it. The stage on the outside of the building in the yard is pretty well built and the grassy area around it can hold sizeable concerts and the grass is well managed and taken care of. It looks astecaly pleasing to the eye from the outside and the lawn as well, the building is well maintained and taken care of. The top row seats feel better than the lower seats the lower seats are just awfully uncomfortable no matter how me or my peirs sit we just cannot get comfortable in them they're just at a weird angle all the time, other than that though the facility is pretty good and worth a visit if anything is...
