Happy Teriyaki - Idaho Center Blvd - Nampa, ID — Restaurant in Nampa

This has to be the most horrible I have been treated as a customer in a very long time and for a place that is supposed to be bragging about Idaho owned is very disconcerting. I came in to this place to quickly grab just a plain old chicken rice bowl for dinner. Yes I realize I stopped by at 8:15 and they close at 8:30 but the open sign was still on and the doors were unlocked. When I walked in I was told immediately that till was shut down and they would not be helping me the lady behind the counter had the most horrible customer service skills I have seen at a restaurant. She refused to do anything about serving me even though they were clearly still open still had kitchen staff and still were working. I told her well your sign said 8:30 and you were still open with the sign on. She said we can close whenever we feel like it. The owner has given us permission to close when we want to. So how is anyone supposed to go off of that kind of nonsense? So it's just a Randomness when you can show up and eat here? That doesn't make a whole lot of business sense . When I asked for someone I could contact she alright refused any type of phone number to contact anyone above her or even her name so I knew who I was dealing with. and went and got the cook who decided to try to help but his service skills weren't any better he told me if I own the place I could do whatever I want but since I'm just a customer he didn't care. After standing there for a few minutes the guy in the back decided that he would help me and it took the lady running the till no more than 15 seconds I kid you not to get the till going again. I will never go to this place again and I will do my damnedest to make sure that everyone hears about it. Do you guys do not want to be open till 8:30 then don't be open till 8:30. And if you want to close early then lock the damn door. And I'm sure they spit in my food or did something horrible to it. I should have cut my losses and just left knowing how pissed off they were and what they planned on doing to my food. I ended up literally just throwing it in the garbage when I walked out the door. My health and safety are worth a little bit more than 10 bucks. And what I could see from other reviews posted many other people have had the exact same experience with the lady behind the counter and the person in the kitchen. And since the refusal to get in any contact with anyone I guess I'm going to lose out on...

I don't ever leave reviews like this, but this was crazy. Same rude lady at the front counter as always. Seems like she's been an issue for a while based on all these reviews. This place use to have good service until the new owners. I bought a to-go lunch and they looked at me rudely and with major attitude when I asked to have some teriyaki to put on my food. I asked them what’s wrong, they said “oh nothing”. Confused, I asked again and they said “That’s a sit and stay and eat here kind of thing. If you want some teriyaki, take one of these little to go cups”. What's the difference if I get it for there, and use the teriyaki sauce, then leave, compared to if I get it to go? Unreal. Are you guys struggling that bad to treat your customers like that over teriyaki sauce? "Teriyaki" is in your name. Maybe just give someone your “to go” cups instead of trying to make me feel like I’m stealing from you or something. Learn some customer service, ridiculous. Went here twice including today and the older woman behind the counter seems discriminative towards me.

The first time I tried to order she explained my order in a scrambled way, acted extremely confused, then was about to charge me double everything. She had an undertone of hatred in her voice and doesn't say goodbye whatsoever.

Today while I was trying to order she jumped as if I scared her, flapping her hands in the air, and was acting extremely confused about my order again. She gave me my order with an additude without saying goodbye. I noticed right before heading out she seemed more friendly to the people that were behind me.

Based on the reviews I've read this lady has a history of discriminating Hispanic people and Door Dash drivers. I wear a head covering and both times she was angry towards me for no particular reason. I'm probably not coming back to this location unless...
