I used to be a consistent regular at Dutch Bros. Today was the last time I ever go to one. This review can be universally applied to all Treasure Valley locations.
I always get a hot 911 and they honestly vary in quality to where 1 out of 4 are way off. I still drink it but there's a lack of consistency.
Customer interaction has pretty much disappeared over the past 9 years since I first started going. If there was any slight wait baristas were really good at engaging in conversation. They don't even try anymore.
The last straw was today. Service and efficiency is the worst. All the shacks are now one line. Wait times are insane and this has happened multiple times. I order a coffee on my way somewhere only to find myself trapped in a line for, not exaggerating, 20, 30, or 40 minutes. Today taking my son to his 230pm swimming lessons nearby. I arrived at 210pm and ordered my coffee. At 225pm I finally reached a spot in line where I could pullout and I just had to leave without my coffee.
Dutch Bros needs a big shift or I don't see them thriving anymore in the Treasure Valley. Unfortunately even if that shift ever comes I won't experience it because I would crawl on my hands and knees across I-84 in daylight hours than go back to a Dutch Bros. If Dutch Bros sees this, please don't respond. Focus on changing from within so that another soul doesn't have to be trapped in a line waiting 20+ minutes for a coffee they...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The kids there yesterday gave me the wrong mug back! I usually try bringing my own dutch mug anytime I stop by Dutch (one planet and all) and yesterday received someone else's mug back! I would not have minded as much but I am 8 months PREGNANT and being exposed to who knows what right now is not an option! In all fairness I left not checking the mug until I got to work, took a drink from the mouth piece and realized the mug did not contain my drink or my initial at the bottom! I work relatively close and returned to try explaining to the kids there only to be cut off by the girl in a hurry to get to the next car. Told no that's your mug we put stickers on some to tell them apart but we will remake your drink I had already handed the girl my mug and she walked off. By the time I go to the window they had remade a new drink in the same mug that was not mine! There needs to be a better system in place for situations like this than putting a sticker on your mug to tell similar mugs apart with these kids that could care less about you or your personal health safety its not ok. Especially when I clearly had my mug labeled with my name on the bottom! I'm still debating reporting this the thought of what I could or may have contracted is terrifying not only for myself...
Read moreEdit: 4 years later: this site has two lanes, with a sign that says "pick shortest lane" when picking shortest lane, you would then stop at the stop line to wait your turn. Evidently when you do this, employees and other customers think that you're cutting in line I guess? I had an employee try to stop me (keep in mind I'm already stopped at the stop line) and let another car go ahead of me like I don't know how to use the zipper method, she also rudely said "cars merge here". I was obviously following the rules in which Dutch Bros created for this location. Keep to taking forever to make a drink, you obviously don't know how to direct traffic according to your own traffic pattern. Even if it's being followed by the drivers using it.
4 years ago: Still dont know why this location closed down one of their windows as its the busiest one. Music is always way too loud you have to shout into the window. If you have to ask what i said 3 times its time to "turn down for what?" If you take my order 11 cars back, why is my drink not ready by the time I arrive at the window? Theres at least 8 people inside working at a time if not more. This location has TOO much fun and arent focused on the customer like...
