The so called manager was a bigger Mexican woman who did not speak spanish. When we tried to explain swapping the potatoes out with beans we were confused by the huge price difference so we asked the woman helping us why the price was different she said that they never have ever swapped food inside a burrito before. My husband and I argued we have always gotten it swapped out at multiple different Los betos she said we have never done that before my husband got a bit agitated and raised his voice even spoke in Spanish because he did not understand why she said something that doesn't make any sense she threw up her hands in the air and said I'm not here to fight you, I don't have to serve you if I don't have to. At this point we were completely confused fight? This isn't a fight this is a slight argument and miscommunication does she expect we will physically fight her ? I am confused. My husband proceeds to tell her that this isn't right she finally says that I'm not here to fight we stopped allowing swapping food out since last month. Ok wait why didn't she start with that ? Why didn't she just mention that they have changed the policy instead of saying she refuses to serve us and that she's not here to fight us. I mention she needs to correct her wording so that there is not a misunderstanding she than proceeds to tell us that's she's not here to fight us again and that she can refund us.
We shake our heads and let it drop my husband gets his burrito and looks at the receipt.
They charged him for NO POTATOES and charged him for swapping out the potatoes with beans. We go in refund and request for the store owners number They say there's no way to contact the store owner.

Read moreI don’t know where to start with this place. My family and I went here for dinner. My daughter ordered a breakfast burrito. She got 2 bits in and realized it was filled 100% with potatoes. No eggs, meat, or cheese. I opened up the burrito and took it back up to the counter and showed them the inside of the burrito. The very rude lady said that’s what my daughter ordered, I told her no it was not. I heard what she ordered. Who would ever order a tortilla filled with just potatoes in it? On top of everything else, the potatoes looked old, grayish in color, and super mushy, like they were potatoes from the morning service. She refused to make us the correct breakfast burrito, so I just threw it in the trash. For the next 5 minutes I saw her and the cook joking and laughing about what happened. Then the lady came around the corner and asked if I wanted them to make a new breakfast burrito for me, I declined. I told her I don’t want to eat anything coming out of that kitchen. I have been to this location about 3 times in 6 years and the employees there are always super rude and the food is garbage. I guess I kept hoping they would improve somehow. They should all be ashamed of themselves for calling what they serve, Mexican food. The next day my wife’s stomach was all tore up from it. They are always watching inappropriate shows on TV and the place is always dirty. Stay away from this Los Betos location, unless you like nasty fake Mexican food and love being treated like trash. Read more:CHILD WITH SUSPECTED FOOD POISONING Our family ordered food around 4:00 today, started eating it at home around 10 minutes after we received it. Everything including meat was cold, cheese wasn't even melted, guacamole tasted like water, etc. We should have stopped there, but didn't have time to return to have the food replaced. My husband called the restaurant and informed them that we weren't looking for anything (refund) and didn't have time to go back there, but did want to let them know that our food wasn't good. The man he spoke with said the owner was out of town and the regular cook was sick, so there were part time employees "trying to figure out how to make the food". Fast forward to around 9:00 tonight, and our 6-year-old is violently and suddenly ill. My husband called the restaurant again a little after 10:00 to let them know that we suspected food poisoning, and that we had called earlier to inform them of the temperature and taste of the food being "off". The girl that answered the phone laughed at him, said he was lying and never called, nobody is sick, refused to give her name or the name of the owner, and that their regular cook is there so the first phone conversation never happened. Honestly, I don't think I have EVER left a negative review for a business, but this is just totally appalling.
