I would like to say, the Napa store is far and above the best customer experience I have ever had had since we moved to the USA in 2015. Every single member of their staff goes above and beyond anything you could ever ask, We have done at least 10 major house projects and all of the major materials, parts, and advice has been supplied by the Napa store and staff members.
My children are known there by name and that is a wonderful thing for the staff to show caring attention. In addition to buying everything from garden materials to Christmas decorations, our children also love their craft activities around the seasonal holidays and it has become a regular part of our planning for activities to do as a family.
We have always had a great experience, but today was more unique. When looking to buy a new outdoor kitchen set up, we have been researching for over 2 to 3 weeks now and within 1 hour in the Napa Store, they had found the perfect item and also agreed to have it delivered and fitted at our house.
It took six staff members to deliver it and they were carrying it over fences and through small spaces. We cannot thank them enough for their care and attention.
Everything about that store represents is what is good about stores that do more than just supply goods and products as a fantastic part of our community.
Our family would like to say a massive thank you and well done for always going above and beyond.
If anyone can ever find a better in-store experience than this in the entire world, please let me know as I would like to travel there to check it out for myself.

Read moreI have shopped at the Napa store many times since they opened. I went in on Friday to rent a carpet cleaner the young lady was very professional and extremely helpful. I was very happy with the machine it did a wonderful job on my carpets. I cleaned the machine thoroughly.....it was cleaner than when i rented it. When I brought it back on Sunday evening I was treated like garbage. First the young lady at the register was irritated that I didn’t have my receipt. All I had was a copy of the rental agreement. I had not been told to bring the cash register receipt. I told her I hadn’t been charged a deposit therefore she really didn’t need it because I wasn’t get any money back. She then brought over another employee to help her to make sure it was clean. They decided it wasn’t because she found a little fuzz I’d missed It had probably come from the carpet in the car on it’s way back to the store. There was another customer standing there who commented that it was spotless. One of them was rude to him about his comment and then called the manager over to check it out. She practically pulled out a magnifying glass and determined it was clean. I feel I was treated like a criminal. I can assure you will NEVER shop in your store again. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Orchard Supply in Napa. We purchased plants from them just three days ago, and upon bringing them home, it was clear that the plants were diseased. Naturally, we decided to return them with our receipt, expecting a smooth process. I was completely shocked by the appalling treatment we received from the staff and management today.
A particularly hostile and unprofessional staff member, an older gray-haired lady, refused to process our return. Despite having only had the plants in our possession for a few days, she was adamant about not honoring their return policy. It seemed she was determined to keep hundreds of our dollars, even though we were sold unhealthy plants in the first place.
It took us over an hour to complete this return, and it was an infuriating experience from start to finish. This store does not honor its own return policy, and worse yet, they sell diseased plants. Buyer beware—save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. Orchard Supply in Napa does not value its customers and should be avoided...
