If you can find a place in Napa with worse customer service and attitude I'd like to know where it is because it would be hard to beat the attitude here. I went in tonight a little before 8. I wasn't sure how long they were open so I asked if they were still cooking. The guy sweeping the floor, Juan, grunted and nodded yes, so I ordered. I order a beer, burger, and fries. I sat at the counter and they poured my beer and sat it on the counter three seats away. Finally Diego, one of the employees, pointed it out. Ya think he could have brought it over, nope. I was sipping my beer when he boxed up my food and put it in a bag? Really? He told me they close at 8, it was 8:04. Okay, I get it, you want to go home. I should have been told this when I ordered, particularly when I was served a beer in a glass, which obviously I'm not taking with me. I went into their courtyard and had to balance my food on a 2x4 rail as they had brought the tables inside. While I was eating my to go container with some fries fell off the rail. Oh well, by then I was doing a slow burn and I decided to leave it there. I threw away my napkins and left, leaving the fries and my beer glass on the rail. Never, never ever have I done this before. I've worked in food service. I've managed retail. These guys used to be welcoming, friendly, enjoyable. The past few times I've been in there the attitude has gone from awful to worse. Never again. I'll go next door to Grocery Outlet and get a pizza before I'll subject myself to the rude and somewhat hostile behavior from this crew. If you want a burger, hit Red Rock Cafe. For a few dollars more you will get a high quality burger that puts this to shame, without the attitude. Take a look at the reviews, good and bad. I haven't found one that has a response from the owner or manager. ...
Read moreShoutout to Juan & Luis for making it a tolerable experience. Good environment but customer service skills are a bit questionable. Menu lacks dietary restrictions(vegetarian option available) & the food is greasy. If you have a weak stomach I don’t recommend. One worker in particular made me feel uncomfortable with our verbal interaction. My younger sibling has extreme social anxiety & was embarrassed to have even entered the building. We both suffer from wpw heart condition & panic disorder as well. I value my personal space & there was a moment where a certain employee reached their hand out to grab my attention(I am immunocompromised). My headphones were too loud but I have situational awareness & turned my music down on my own. I tried serving myself complimentary water but instead lemonade came out. This needs fixing. A lot of things need fixing & common courtesy is...
Read moreI ordered a "squeeze with cheese" (a cheeseburger with all of that extra cheese melted around it. The services was friendly and prompt, but the burger was much less than I expected.
I saw them shake some salt, seasoning salt, or something to that effect onto the patty while it lay on the griddle, but I really couldn't taste any seasoning at all in my burger. It just tasted of well-done beef. The cheese was underwhelming too. Don't get me wrong--I LOVE melty cheese. This didn't seem to be high quality cheese and it was kind of... carcinogenic-tasting if you catch my drift. Not just burnt, but burnt to an unclean griddle.
All-in-all, I'd probably go back if someone else were to pay, but I don't think I'd go and foot the...
