The food has GREAT flavor! It's definitely a must if you want a fish taco. I will say that the elote is probably the best I have had. Oh man, that baby was delicious. The shrimp cocktail is a solid choice, and don't forget about the aguas frescas that are made in-house. Quite refreshing. If you want a burrito, then you won't be disappointed here. Huge size with good ingredients.
Here's what I was not so happy with. The shrimp taco had amazing flavor, but I was very disappointed that it ONLY CAME WITH THREE (3) PIECES OF SHRIMP. The taco itself was loaded with cabbage and pico de gallo, so it became fulling due to that. At $7 a taco, I think we manage at least four pieces of shrimp. The cilantro rice had great fluff, but the flavor was overpowering as if it had way too much cilantro. No one at the table ate it because of the taste.
Will I come back here? Absolutely! I'll go back in right now...

I haven't been here in years, even though it's down the street, and you literally can get year round. It's lent Friday and I just dropped the kid off at school. Needed something "quick" so I thought why not, it's right here. Not sure why I thought I'd be the only one getting some fish tacos, lol, but it was crackin'. Totally forgot it's the first Friday, Napa is in the red tier, so naturally everyone was out. Place my order of baja style tacos, an order comes with two. Great to have a fast food style Mexican place in Napa, unlike Taco Bell, that DOESN'T cater to the American pallet. Taquiza is my GO TO place when I am craving fish tacos. I have been to Taquiza many times for lunch. However, I ONLY go for my favorite deep fried fish tacos. I pre-order my fish tacos, pick it up, & eat it at home. Service is great. My order is always ready when I arrive. Team La Taquiza is efficient and always friendly. The store is always clean. I see many people eating their food indoors or at the outdoor tables.
