It was our first time there & we had a terrible experience in the changerooms. While I was changing, a customer had walked in with an armload of clothes asking for a room & the employee (blonde, curly hair) was talking with a slightly rude tone about how what ever is open she can use otherwise no. She could've gotten the point across just as effectively without the attitude but whatever. So the lady looked and none were open. Given that she had less than 15 minutes til the store closed along with the fact that she needed a lot of space in the room for all the clothes, she kindly asked if she can use the handicap room since it was vacant. The employee was being super rude and persistent on her "no" and when the other lady explained herself, the employee yelled "I DON'T CARE". I stood in my changeroom blatantly shocked and quickly tried to get dressed so I could offer up my room to her. I was just so shocked, disgusted & very hurt by this interaction as that is no way to talk to someone. There was absolutely NO reason for her to be disrespectful, much less yell at the customer. The customer was not, in any way, being difficult or annoying. She was calm & asked politely. The employee literally had no business being so rude. The poor lady was just as shocked and of course more hurt than I was. Spoke to another employee after this interaction who kept apologizing though it wasn't her fault & we weren't upset at anyone other than the impolite employee.
Hopefully she got talked to about basic manners and etiquette...will avoid coming here on days I see that employee again. I feel uncomfortable shopping where I can get snapped at, for no reason...
Read moreReturn Policy and customer service is horrendous. Drove 30 minutes to return clothes my significant other purchased in January for a Galla. With 3 kids under 5, and another on the way, finding 30 minutes each way to drive out for a return was not a top priority. Today, 4/16/24, I had the time to drive up to return these items and purchase a new suit. But had the pleasure of experiencing “great customer” service being told it’s been over 30 days and I have to just keep the $150 in dresses that my significant other will never wear nor has she ever. When I asked if I can even get store credit as I want to buy a suit for another event, I was informed I cannot due to their new policy. Although the internet states that this is not a scenario a customer would experience with their return policy, I now have $150 in dresses that is as good as kindling material for my fire pit. Very sad experience at a once very highly customer service oriented operation due to new store policies that, were not a thing in the past as we have returned items over 6months after purchase for store credit, but vary at every location with the discretion of the store! I don’t understand how this is a justified threshold nor how a corporation can have such a lack of singularity throughout its company. Unfortunate that we will be canceling our account and going to stores that are closer and don’t have these ridiculous policies as stores understand life happens and time goes by fast. I no longer recommend Nordstrom and would advise anyone that does, to make sure what they purchase fits right before ever leaving the facility if you have any sort of life that...
Read moreI encounter a problem here 2 days ago when returning 151.97 shoes that they claimed was final sale and that every other rack is not following policy .. no final sale sticker.. no final sale stamp on paper receipt it was not final sale. Had no NCQ on the tag it was dec 23 asst asst tag came up on receipt and they refused to refund me . I purchased them 2 days b4 returning them. Told me to go 45 minutes to the rack I purchased its at . I went to another rack closer then that one and had no problem. In out not one word about final sale. They need to be informed that there the ones doing it the wrong way not everyone else. I have bought manolo blahnik with final sale tag these were not final sale. The misc tags are not final sale unless they have a sticker on them stating that. Please inform them of this. This was uncalled for I spend lots of money at racks and nordstrom.. I didnt expect to be treated this way . Jose he acting manager went back and forth with me I ask please show me where it says this item is final sale I even called the original store and she confirmed they weren't. . . this also was not purchased with ur extra 25 off either.
