Islamic Center of Naperville (ICN) Al Hilal- Ogden — Attraction in Naperville

Mosque is a place where everyone should be welcome. It’s a place where one shouldn’t berate another. My experience had been very bad at this mosque. I went to this mosque with my brother on a motorcycle to pray for jumu’atul vida. Clearly the personnel didn’t stop me and my brother from entering on motorcycle even when parking was full but the volunteer inside lied to my face that he did stop. They may have gotten a complex or were jealous that we could own and afford a motorcycle and still be practicing Muslims who offer Juma at mosque. We parked in 1 slot and went inside and that’s where the berating started. This not the first time the management behaved this way, they invoked a Hadith and said that you shouldn’t run for prayers and called it out after prayer. It’s pathetic to see how this mosque does outreach with people of other race and religion while berates someone of their own religion and community. These kind of management are the reason why some of our younger generations are refraining from getting involved in mosques. They have turned places of worship into capitalistic money churning machines like some of the other religious institutions in USA. The management could have easily told us in normal voice that parking in a full lot was against their policy but instead berating me and my brother in public was very sad. I pray that people recognize these kind of mosques and try to change their management or create another safe haven of their own where people are not racist and are...

One of the best masaajid in Chicagoland area. I was here for Ramadan Quran session. The speakers were phenomenal and helped us in understanding Quran in a very simplified and yet informative manner. Very serene and beautiful islamic center well maintained and clean. Their events and activities are also great all through the year and not just Ramadan. So if there is anyone out there around Naperville area looking for enlightenment or peace or just curious about islam and what the whole idea of islam is then this is the go to place for you all. Very welcoming and warm hearted community that contributes to great energetic enthusiastic and positive vibes of this islamic center. Hopefully Muslims understand Islam well from all angles cuz Islam is one package . When I come to icn after prayer time one brother is telling me you are late u can’t get in to pray cuz there is a school is going on . I understand the concern for little kids we have to secure them and there is a police officer standing there so mAsjed became like church or temple has only specific time that is it . Hopefully the board educate them self and read about the responsibility for masjid specially in west countries.
