John's Auto Spa — Local services in Nappanee

12/16/17 I have never been at a car wash like this before as I always have washed my own vehicles thru the years either by hand or wand or drive thru .But since I lifted my truck it won't fit thru a 7'ft bay and John's auto spa bay is 7'2 and my truck fits thru .And with the winters as they are I wanted to find a car wash that also washes the undercarriage which John's auto spa does .So my wife and I jumped in the truck and we live in 10 miles or do away so it's not like right around the corner but I figured it's worth the drive as I keep very good care of our pickup inside and outside .So we drove up and I requested the tsunami which is the most expensive $17 and when I drove in the young man guided me in and as I said before I have never used one of these type of car washes before that you put your vehicle in neutral and let the wash do it's thing so I had it in gear with the brakes applied and this guy he was an older guy not teenagers started yelling and hollering about release the brakes so I did released the brakes and then he yelled and hollered some more put in in neutral at that point I almost got out of the truck to address this jerk about he could've got his rear-end over to my door window and tell me in a normal way instead of yelling and hollering at me .. I have been going to Johns auto spa for like 8 years. Today 6/22/21 was the worst experience i have ever had. Usually there are usual guys that work there and know exactly what to do on your vehicle and you don't have to feel afraid. Today there were what I call a bunch of kids in there, they were all new faces except one guy probably in his mid 20's that I have seen in there many times. The rest seriously looked like they were 10, maybe it was summer staff automotive interns from the high school idk but it was horrible. They acted like they didn't really know what was going on. They didn't offer to help me figure out how to change my oil reset so I know when to get oil changed again. This is the 1st time I had my new truck in there and they saw me looking through the owners manual. This is the worst experience ever as I stated and I sure hope the normal guys come back. Idk if these same guys continue to be there if I'll return and thats to bad because nowhere else is...

Been changing my oil here for a few years now. Last time I went In a new kid changed my oil. Less than a week later. My engine was pumping oil out the exhaust and so quickly that it ran out of oil while driving cause engine damage and timing damage. $3000.00 later my car is normal again. Never will I ever return here for anything ever again.

Me and the finance company contacted them about it. The stated “ the owner will be here on Monday , we will review the footage and if we are at fault we will make it right “. They never called back.
