I am not a "beader". I don't make jewelry but my daughter and I came here last year so she could pick out beads and make earrings for a Christmas friend gift swap. They were so helpful and showed her how to do it. Today I went in because I needed some very specific beads for the edge of her bridal veil that had come off. I needed to match them as close as possible before her wedding in November. They brought a few over to me but told me they definitely didn't have one type and the other ones were fake pearls and their store has real. Finally they brought a round sparkly one that didn't match but I could use in a pinch. She even suggested I try Michael's. I thought for a few minutes and finally said I would get them as long as I was there, but I was going to Michael's anyway and would look there too. Went to Michael's and they had both style and color beads I needed! I was thrilled. So I went back to Beadles on my way home to return the unwanted beads I bought an hour ago. The owner wasn't there but the other person who helped me with her was there and very apologetically said they only do exchanges, not refunds. I was shocked. Who doesn't do refunds? And why didn't they tell me before I purchased them? There is a small, half hidden sign near the register but, really, no refunds? I am all about supporting small, women owned business, but this is one that I unfortunately will not be...
Read moreFound this shop when looking for a non big box store that carries beading supplies and fell in love with the crystals/gemstones and extensive selection of gemstone beads as well as decorative Czech glass beads, as well as fixings and tools and other necessities for jewelry crafting and metaphysical crystal supplies. Staff is very kind and helpful! (Very easy to spend money! I went back two days after my first visit and collectively spent over $500 during their annual sale) 😅🥰 they also have a punch reward system for use at future visits! I’d driven past the plaza several times and never thought to stop in but they have a new regular! 😅 Devin was awesome and continuously ensuring that I didn’t need assistance without being overbearing and I over heard her helping another guest who was working on a sentimental project with specific needs. I also love the crystal soup scoops! I’m itching to make my way back!!! (They just close before I can leave work 😫 but 7 pm is an excellent time for any business to close especially when they’re open 7 days a week!!)
Initially went for beads and left with a little bit of everything! I was making a crystal and iridescent bead suncatcher for a friends birthday while getting started in this new craft, and they even had a book for sale to help me...
Read moreI have gone to this store a handful of times the last few years and I was shocked to see bad reviews of it to be honest. I thought it deserved a good review, so here I am writing one! This store is really cute, I'm not an avid beader or I would of been here way more than a handful of times! It has a great selection of beads, all the supplies one needs to make jewelry and yes, it does have pre-made jewelry for sale.
I actually love that they have a selection of pre-made jewelry. The girls that work in the store make them all by hand. You can find some truly gorgeous, one-of-a-kind items there. And when I'm feeling crafty but I don't have any idea on what to make, I browse the pre-made jewelry and use it as inspiration.
I've brought my mother, aunt and little cousins here and all have had a wonderful experience. The employees are very helpful. They are knowledgeable and will take time out to sit and help you assemble your jewelry if you need the help.
I wear my Beadles jewelry more than any of my real jewelry...why?? Because I literally get a compliment every single time I wear items I have bought or made there.
I hope my review helps, it's definitely a place you should stop...
