I went inside today to make a small purchase of squish toys under 10 dollars. When handing my card to the cashier (training with manager supervision) they asked for an ID. I thought this was odd but handed it over. I was curious and asked what they do if the ID and card dont match. The manager said they dont accept the sale. I said that didnt make any sense, and explained my reasoning (a kid may make a purchase with a parents card, or a wife with her husband's card, etc.) The manager reiterated her point in an incredibly rude tone of voice. I said "you dont need to be rude about it" and finished the transaction. I'm not sure what I did that was so offensive to be treated that way today.
Is this how you treat all your customers who ask you simple questions? I am also wondering if this was a case of discrimination (wouldnt be the first time as someone who is transgender and non-white) as I'm unsure if other customers are asked for their ID upon making a debit card purchase. Anyways, wont be returning and more than happy to advise people in my life to...

This is ridiculous for a store to have such overbearing policies I get it that there is fraud more common nowadays but I feel like this was more discriminated against because I only had my payment card and I didn't bring my wallet with three IDs. I've heard about being id'd for alcohol and tobacco but being id'd to use my card to buy a stuffed animal is ridiculous congratulations making a child cry and saving your 7.99 that you thought I was trying to...
Read moreI was looking to purchase a particular game. I called the Nashua store and was initially told they didn't have any in stock. I called the Manchester store and was told they'd call me back. While I was waiting for the Manchester store to call back (they never did), the Nashua store called to say they had found one and offered to put it aside for me. I picked it up the next evening along with a couple other things I thought I was going to have order online. When I jokingly said "if you carry Visa gift cards, I can finish my shopping right now", the clerk kindly let me know where the gift card kiosk was in the mall. All the staff I interacted with were super helpful and friendly. They even let me know that the store will price match with online vendors, saving me $25. I am super happy with my...
