I’m only giving 1 star because of the superb selection of high end and exclusive products that are available here. However, it’s amazing to me that in this day and age, the manager can be so obtuse (I’m assuming she’s the manager). The staff can be friendly, by my mother and myself, on separate occasions, have been berated and treated horribly by the management (we’re pretty easy customers that will spend) and it may have a little something to do with our ethnicity. My mother was once told she had to leave the store because, as the woman put it, “I’m not putting up with some middle eastern woman”. Once, I’d asked to try a lipstick. The manager said “well you could but it’s gonna be annoying for me to get up and grab you a tester”. We’re followed around as though we’re going to steal, and the manager barks at us when we touch things. Even if I’ve spent money, my products are still tossed at me across the cash wrap with no receipt or bag. We aren’t the only ones in our community that have had his experience here. I’d rather take my business to bluemercury or sephora, where your patronage is genuinely appreciated and the workers...

I've been to many salons and have also experimented on my own hair (many times unsuccessfully) numerous times. I was optimistically cautious seeing a new stylist as my hair is very fine, incredibly damaged, and was bleached beyond repair. Ellie turned my bleached, fried mess into something I am absolutely in love with. She was very knowledgable, personable, and helped explain how each product she was using was going to effect my hair. I left feeling so confident and my flat lifeless hair has had so much body and volume since my appointment. She transformed my grown out two toned bleach (dark roots, yellow length) into a beautiful icy dark blonde ombre. I will absolutely return to see Ellie in the future and finally feel confident that I'm seeing a stylist that will enhance my hair not damage it further.

P.S. they have the best products in the area if you are not a licensed stylist, can't find many of the products they sell...

Matthew was phenomenal!! This stylist is one of my two favorite Aveda stylists across the country. I travel extensively and only go to Aveda salons because I know what to expect and I can take my formula from salon to salon. They can then keep and/or tweak my hair color. I wasn’t thrilled with what the last stylist had done in the last state I was in (she didn’t listen to what I was trying to do with my hair and color, it was beautiful...but not what I was asking for). Matthew however, spent time to listen to my concerns and talk to me about it as well as explain how to obtain my eventual objective. I never felt rushed nor unimportant. He was fantastic! I absolutely loved the color and style!! The salon could use some updating.... but I will certainly go back there...
