DISASTER‼️ I researched and researched a salon that was “ Nashville's premier destination for exceptional stylists & expert haircare. Element Salon Nashville surpasses the typical hair salon experience.” Direct quote from their website. It was 2 hrs away from me round trip. But, for $2,000 plus I wanted the best. Spoke with front-of-the-house employee in depth about my needs and concerns. I wanted to tone down my very blonde hair and cover my grey root’s, hair extension’s and a line of products to achieve the healthiest hair I can get that has experience with long very (Naturally) curly blonde hair. The receptionist told me she had the perfect stylist, Taylor. Booked a 30 min consultation with Taylor that was more like an hour. I was very articulate concerning my hair that I do NOT blow dry my hair, I do NOT curl or EVER straighten my hair. All I do is color my very grey roots. She said she could perm the extensions to match my natural spiral curl. Booked the appointment, arrived to find my extension’s were still straight. I guess she took them home the night before my appointment attempted a home perm that did not work. Said that I should by one of the curling irons they use at the Salon, $150 to achieve the same curl pattern (one size down from what the salon uses) I have naturally. Like most hair stylists with no natural curly hair experience she straightened it and put large curls on the bottom. Was not suppose to wash hair for 48 hours. I pushed it to 72 hours. Received my $150 iron and washed my hair. It was a disaster! The curling iron was the wrong size and did not match my curl pattern and looked VERY fake. Went back a third time (6 hours of driving now). For her to curl my hair with a 3/8” curling rod and then present me with a $20 curling iron!!! Now I’m stuck spending 2 extra hours a day trying to naturally dry my hair/extensions then curling all the extensions. 🤯 At one point I spoke with the manager and she asked me if I’m using hairspray! That’s one of the top things NOT to use with extensions!🤯 To try and separate curly hair and straight extensions to try and curl extensions is a disaster! By the time I separate my hair from the extensions I’m left with frizz and destroyed curl pattern🤯 She also put a solution in my hair to make it softer and shinier, low lights and a rince. Now just a cpl weeks post all my grey roots are back‼️🤯 I bought their whole Kerastase hair Line plus extra. I spent 6 plus hours driving and tipped very generously. I take long lengths to keep my hair heathy with perfect ringlet bouncy curls! Now the top 3/4 of my hair is frizzy and does not match the curl pattern of the extensions! I AM NOT going to destroy my natural hair with having to curl it every day to match the extensions. Taylor, even admitted I was her first naturally curly client‼️‼️‼️🤯 Totally was ripped off, lied to and miss lead! This IS NOT “ Nashville's premier destination for exceptional stylists & expert haircare. Element Salon Nashville surpasses the typical hair salon experience” I just waisted over $2000 plus six hours of driving to be totally miss lead‼️ Element Salon should be ashamed‼️‼️
TO YOUR REPLY! That is what excuse your unexperienced hair stylist told me after the perm failed on the extension’s “Well it’ll match your texture of hair” I SPECIFICALLY asked for someone who specialized in curly hair! Your receptionist gaurentee’s me she was. It seems at the end of $2000 wasted and a cheap $25 curling iron, after she already talked me into buying your curling iron at $125, she stated “Thanks for being my first girly girl client”!
I was lied to by everybody! When I called to speak with you, you said I’d have to deal with the hairstylist directly. Horrible management skills!
What’s the average people talk about horrible service??? I’ve tripled it‼️
I told the stylist numerous times I never blow dry nor use curling/straightening devises on my hair! I have blonde natural curly hair that I’m trying to grow out and keep as healthy as possible! But you lying Taylor gave me $25 iron and said...
Read moreWell, all the reviews I've read here are glowing about this place which is wonderful to know. However, I haven't had the same level of success. I recently moved to the area looking for a place that uses Inoa color and found Elements. I went to check it out first and buy some product. I got the product and not a very warm welcome. As I was leaving the parking area a woman who was working in the salon when I was there happen to be outside and came up to me introduced herself and shared with me that she was in training and trying to bulid her book of business. She gave me a card with her name and it included a coupon for 25% off if I tried her. So since I have my formula and know what's involved I thought what the heck, I'd do it, plus I liked that she was proactive. I've gone to see her and all was fine unitl the other day when I went to the salon. I showed up for my appointment and they told me she was no longer with the salon and they couldn't find me or my appointment. Needless to say, I was pissed off and annoyed. They told me that it was her responsiblity to contact her clients and let them know she was no longer there, they didn't even have a record of me anyway. I was really not happy and as a person who has been in the retail customer world for many years thought it was crazy. As I pointed out, it's your name on the door and it's the responsibltiy of the owner/management to make sure all the bases as far as operations goes are covered and running smoohtly. The woman at the front desk where trying to accomadate me as best they could knowing that this was Elements screw up and they did make everything right. I eneded up getting the color I needed from another colorist and they honored the price I would have paid with the other stylist since she was another level of stylist.....I don't care about the levels, I have a very simple need, I know the color and all that I require is someone to apply it!!!!! Not that difficlut or fancy, so for me working with a lesser level of stylist was great and more affordable since I need to come every 3 weeks. In closing, I didn't like the attitude that was displayed when I got there and that no one had called to inform me that my person was gone, which is a shame for Elements becasue she was very good, I've sat in many stylists chairs and...
Read moreI had been seeing a stylist for years in town and while I loved that person and become friends, the quality of the work on my hair was diminishing. I decided it was time to make a change. I am so happy I did. My first visit at Element, I wasn't sure what to expect. It was clearly a busy salon, yet still inviting. Bryden was and still is absolutely amazing. I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair. I don't even use a blow dryer. But, I do like my blonde hair and I like it to look nice. I wasn't sure what was going to happen at my first appointment, I just knew my hair was in need of some correction. Bryden took the time and listened to what my concerns were with my current color and my long term goals. He spent hours correcting my highlights. He didn't know me and didn't know if I would ever come back but he still took the time to give me the best hair he could. He did that and more. My old hair cut was like the the Leaning Tower of Pisa and he fixed that to perfection. I have been back several times since and I still am amazed every time I walk out. I really enjoy seeing Bryden's creative juices flowing when it comes to what we can do next to keep me low maintenance but have the results I'm looking for. I'm looking forward to my next...
