J - I love crafty stuff and loved this place when I was a kid, so for a date day, I convinced the boyfriend to come back and paint some pottery with me. They moved down a couple of doors and I love the new space because it feels much more open and there is more space so now I don’t feel like a total bull in the china shop. We both decided to paint mugs and pictured first is mine (see what I did there with our google name and stuff). But honestly, you should read pb’s part of the review because he was the real gamble. Go vols.
PB - never in my life did I think I would spend 3 hours painting a coffee cup... and end up liking every minute of it. It was my first time there and they were helpful but didn’t hover. Read moreMy girlfriend and I have loved painting pottery for a while now. When we moved to Nashville, we were quick to try Brushfire. We absolutely love this place! They have a great selection of items to paint. They supply great tools for doing detailed work. The staff is helpful. There is a $7.00 painting fee that is added to each person who is painting an item. So if the cost of an item is $32, you are really paying $39. The other thing is the lack of snacks and drinks. I usually finish my pieces faster than my partner and am usually sitting there for a while. All in all, this place is pretty great and I would highly...
Read moreI grew up in Nashville going to another local pottery studio. My boyfriend and I discovered Brushfire a little over a year ago and the atmosphere and staff have always been top notch. That said, with everything shut down from COVID-19, Brushfire began promoting their to-go kits and we have so far done around 12-15 pieces. They have kept things safe and sanitary, while giving Nashville the opportunity to continue painting and staying entertained in the safety of our own homes. I will continue being a loyal customer to Brushfire.
We also recently went to a studio in Rutherford county for a last minute Father’s Day gift since it was close and it really just made me this place. Even if it’s out of the way, make...
