Update: GM was quick to reach back to me to discuss my experience/feedback. I appreciate his professionalism to hear our experience.
Upon arrival, our server did not attend to our table for over 30 minutes after placing our drink order. When we finally managed to get her attention to place a food order, she informed us that the kitchen would not be taking any orders for at least 20 minutes. This information would have been helpful much earlier, and when we mentioned this to her, she claimed she had just found out.
We explained that had she checked on us sooner, we could have placed our order in a timely manner. Instead of acknowledging this, she argued with us and did not apologize for the inconvenience. It was evident that she was not overly busy, as we observed her attending to other tables regularly.
To add to our frustration, we witnessed her making complaints about us to the kitchen staff in the doorway. When she returned to our table, she still did not offer an apology and instead asked if we wanted another round of drinks or if we were ready to pay.
This experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. We visit here rather frequently and it's sad how subpar this experience was compared to...
Read moreThis is a great spot to catch the game in 5 points they have plenty of television screens and plenty of seating. The food is simple and straightforward. Although this isn't the best place for a vegetarian or vegan, there are quite a few options. The black bean burger quesidilla is a great choice and comes on tomato basil tortilla. We also got nachos and tried the patty melt. Nothing wild and out of the norm cullinary wise here, but the food is very good. We got the beef chili on the side of the nachos and ended up dunking everything in them. The French fries are like cookout fries. You could describe the overall taste as "home-cooked." The food tastes like comfort food your mom would make. During happy hour, they have 2 for 1 beer and 2 for 1 well drinks, which comes out to around 5 dollars for 2 bourbon and cokes or vodka sodas. Which is great for pre gaming or a cheap low pressure date, and if it doesn't go well, you can bar hop and shoot your shot into the next date. There are a ton of great bars around here to walk to. I recommend this spot for travlers air bnbing in the area or traveling to 5 points during game night. The food is cheap and so are the drinks. Locals will love this spot for lunch...
Read moreWe went there for the Final Four games. It was very packed, which is understandable considering the events they were showing. We sat at the bar for about 45 minutes waiting for a table, which was no inconvenience as we were that hungry. The bartenders were very overwhelmed as it took the 4 of us almost 15 minutes to get her attention and then get our first round of drinks. We finally got a table after the first game. We sat down at 7pm. At 7:20, I had to ask a busboy if he could please locate the waiter/waitress who handles our table. At 7:30, the people across from us, who sat down after us, received their food. By 7:45, after have not been acknowledged even once by a single server, we left. It was such awful service that I am still irritated about it the morning after! They were clearly overwhelmed and understaffed. I may slip in here for a drink as the location is great, but I highly doubt it. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this place. Go to 5 Points Pizza right next door, WAYYY better...
