Let me preface this by saying, this was my first bridal appointment ever. I came into it nervous and feeling a little insecure about my body and how I might fit (or not fit) into dresses.
From the start, Neely made the whole experience so amazing. She put me at ease. I was sending her photos of inspo and she was so thorough in her responses, even educating me about what kinds of designs I was showing her and how we could adjust dresses they had at the salon to look like these if they did not have it already. She was transparent about pricing and helped me stick below my budget with a smile. She made me feel special, like what I wanted was really important and like I was a princess for a day!
When I got there, she had 13 dresses pulled and ready for me!! She let me have my moment alone in the dressing room before I walked out and showed her and my guests. This was so nice because I didn’t feel pressured to like it or dislike it, I just got to be excited to show everyone. I ended up finding my dress here (at my first appointment ever!!) but I decided to go to the second appointment I had booked just to be sure I that I didn’t say yes too quickly.
Well.. that was a mistake. The second store I went to made me feel like an insignificant speck of dust in the world of brides. I wanted to cry the whole time. The stylist pulled 2 dresses and let me try on about 5 total. Each dress was right at the top of or simply over my budget. She pressured me to like or dislike the dress before I even got to walk out of the dressing room. It was awful.
Neely was so kind to text me and let me know she would stay open for me if I wanted to come back that day to get my dress. I asked if it was ok to try it on one more time. She said of course!
The minute I walked back into Magnolia Laine I felt at ease again, like being home. Neely was so welcoming. I got to have 1 last moment in my dream dress, crying my eyes out from happy tears. If it weren’t for Neely and Magnolia Laine I’m not sure I would have it in me to go to another bridal appointment. She really helped me feel special, and taught me a valuable lesson that your vendor (or stylist in this case) can really make or break your experience! 1000/10 experience here. I wish I could go play dress up at this store...
Read moreI had the absolute best experience finding my wedding dress at Magnolia Laine in East Nashville! From the moment I walked in, Neely (the owner) made me feel so welcome and cared for. She was not only incredibly helpful and prepared, but also flexible and easygoing, which made the whole appointment feel relaxed and fun.
Neely struck the perfect balance of being professional and detail-oriented while also allowing me and my guests to chit chat, laugh, and enjoy the moment. She went above and beyond to make sure everything about my dress and order was perfect, and I truly felt like she cared so much!

I loved every minute while shopping for my dress here, no over-selling or pressure of persuasion to find “the” dress. I appreciated the mellow and soft approach from Neely. I felt so relaxed and calm, while having so much fun laughing and rating each dress.
Neely actually picked out the dress I ended up saying Yes to, and while I chose to try it on last she waited for me to grab it to try on. It had every detail I wanted that I didn’t see in other dresses, she paid attention to detail and ultimately delivered.
Love...
