Let me start by saying I went through a garbage disposal of used car dealers before finding Michael's Motor Company. As a twenty-something girl and cash buyer, I was starting to think I would never find a good, fair deal on a vehicle. After going to a dealership in Springfield to purchase this very bug only to find out it had been wholesaled, I tracked it down at MMC before it was even listed. Despite this (and arriving at MMC a few minutes before they opened), I was shown this car immediately by Leonard, who had a clear passion and knowledge for quality cars. He had already replaced the tires and pointed out minor imperfections he was planning to fix before sending it off the lot. Still, I was offered to purchase it same-day.

I assumed my dream bug would be well out of my price range, given MMC is a boutique dealership with an array of speciality cars and a meticulously maintained garage. However, Leonard priced it fairly and even gave me a couple thousand dollars for my 2008 trade in that was valued at a couple hundred by a big box dealership a few days prior. He did not raise the vehicle's price because I paid in cash, and there were zero hidden fees or extras tacked onto the sticker price aside from a reasonable admin charge. Leonard spent a week sourcing matching floor mats, detailing the car's interior, fixing cosmetic bits, and even replacing the battery before I picked it up. He texted me continuous updates and responded within minutes to any questions I had. I spent a total of 1.5 hours at MMC across two visits.

Leonard treated me like any other buyer and shared my excitement for finding this rare, two-toned denim blue Beetle. I drove from Mississippi to test drive the car. Though I couldn't make it in the confines of the hours of closing. Adam and Linda waited for me and allowed me to take my time test driving the car. Best purchase experience I’ve ever had.

I found a 2017 Suburban online before I came to Nashville on business for the afternoon. I called them to verify they still had it when I arrived. The folks on the phone were very polite, said They did. I drove over there, talked to the sales guy for a few minutes and asked for a test drive. Test drove it and before I was back made up my mind that I’d get it as a Christmas present for my wife. They had all the financing paperwork done and putting a temp plate on in about 30 minutes. Lenard and Darren were awesome and fast. They had it clean enough to eat off of anything in it. They also put a new battery in it because he said when he started it , it didn’t sound right and he didn’t want me to have any trouble out of it. I’d give them 10 stars if it was available.
