Ethan Allen — Local services in Natick

We are so happy with our Ethan Allen experience. We moved into a new house and had to buy furniture, carpets and window treatments for virtually all of the rooms. This was a daunting task for us and, having picked up a few items at other retailers over several weeks, we really needed someone with design expertise that could co-ordinate the entire house.

Ethan Allen was the ideal solution for us, and we started working with Adele at the Natick, MA location. Adele is an excellent designer and, just as importantly, has the ability to figure out the unique design preferences and style of the customer. We are not designers and find it hard to put together a layout on our own, but we certainly appreciate good design that embodies our preferences when we see it. Adele was able to draw from the vast array of options offered by Ethan Allen, presenting us design options that matched our style and taste. The whole process was so easy, and we could not be happier with the result.

In addition to visiting our house several times during the design process, we took Adele up on her offer to come out to help us position the furniture in each room after deliveries were made. It’s surprising but the moving of a rug a few inches here and there, together with the angular placement of chairs (for example) really does make a massive difference to the appeal of a living space.

I recently moved to a new place and decided to get new bedroom furniture so I stopped by the Ethan Allen showroom in late July. I was greeted by a friendly designer and went on to get a bed, a sofa and a chest as well as a bench. That part of the experience went great. The delivery was not so great. The sofa could not fit through the door to my house and the bed...well that became a whole different issue. At the first delivery attempt an important support piece didn't make it on the truck so the guys couldn't assemble the bed and the sofa was too large to fit through. After all that a second attempt was made a couple weeks later and again the bed couldn't be assembled the legs were not the appropriate size. I had to wait for someone else to come and fix it. I get it things happen we're humans. The showroom manager whom I reached out to in between the two deliveries never reached out and the designer I worked with didn't check back to inquire if I ever did get a complete bed. What baffled me is the lack of care for their customers. I've been a customer for years, over 20 years to be exact and after this experience I don't see myself returning. The furniture is beautiful, durable and of good craftsmanship but the service needs to be at the same...

Fran Kroll at Ethan Allen Natick helped us with out recent updates, and we could not be more pleased with the results. She came to our home, created design plans, and met with us throughout the process. We purchased living room sofas, a gorgeous glass and brass coffee table, a side table and custom draperies for our living room. The paint colors she suggested were optimal for the lighting and our lifestyle, and the finished product is lovely. We were definitely ready for an upgrade, and she guided us through the process. She's insightful, very talented, and a delight to work with. Our den project involved draperies, a sofa, a lovely rug, and media cabinet. From that project we moved to the dining room. She selected fabrics for draperies and chair covers that brought out the best in the rug, and suggested a paint color, which ties the room together beautifully. Now we're on the second floor, upgrading draperies and rugs that modernize and fit our lifestyle.
