My wife is in the army and needed new boots she was told these were the boots to get. I ordered the boots on 12/18/21 there was a message on their website stating anything after 12/9 couldn't be guaranteed by 12/25. This was fine I wasn't expecting miracles however while checking out the option to pay 10 bucks for shipping to get it by 12/29 was available. My wife is home on leave and is due back by the 3rd so I thought this was fine. I get an email stating my order hasn't been shipped. When I called to get clarification I get told that all orders are 10-15 business days behind. When I explained I paid for expedited shipping I got told that's for Fed Ex and has nothing to do with them. I then asked why is their no notice about being behind 10-15 days on their website. The man I spoke with sounded like he couldn't be bothered which I find ridiculous considering they pride themselves on being a company that supports the military. He wrote me back stating there was nothing he could do and that I would just have to wait 10-15 days. No offer to refund the extra that I paid for shipping. I'm very disappointed with their handling of this and that they have no notice beyond saying something can't be guaranteed by Christmas. I bought a pair of Durango boots when I was in North Dakota on sale at a boot barn, once I got home to New York and broke them in after a few weeks, the color started to change which looked really bad. I emailed Rocky Brands and they decided to give me a discount on new boots but then informed me that the style I had was backordered for a few months . I didn't want to wait that long since I had already sent my boots back to them for inspection, so I asked if I could get a different style since I didn't want to wait, and have issues with the new pair also. They agreed and I was also able to get a different size since my others were a bit tight. Thank you Durango for taking care of my issue and sending me a different size and style, free of charge, I will be telling all my friends to get Durangos! I love your styles!
