Kohl's — Local services in New Albany

Customer service here is terrible! The girl in charge of fitting rooms profiles who she wants to count their 5 items allowed at a time for them and whom she allows to push a cart full I'm at the same time. Then at a quarter til 9 (after they had been counting down every 5 mins since 830) a lady Lauren hit the dressing room door so hard it popped the lock only to tell me they were closing in "less than ten minutes" I looked at my clock it was 846. I was apauled. I intended to spend several hundred dollars and literally only had 2 items left to try on. I know bc the attendant counted my 7 items for me and it was my second time back. I fully understand theft is an issue at this store (I can tell by all the tags and wadded up clothes all over the dressing room floor. I also understand wanting to get out of work at a reasonable hour, but the way they went about it was terrible. I left without spending a penny. I will not return for awhile. Hopefully they get their act together. I've always liked Kohls selection of clothing and as long as you catch a sale pricing isn't bad compared to other places. This being said I'm willing to pay more to be treated with respect and as if they understand if you have no customers you have no job!! I've worked customer service and management positions for over 20 years now and if one of my employees treated customers like I was treated this evening they would not have a job with me...

I went to this location to get Kohl's Cash during the recent giveaway everyday I went I was either harrassed about my age or where I lived because I would come with my mom. The people at this location are very rude and stand and talk about you for absolutely no reason. Especially Terri and the one with the short red hair and glasses I'm not sure what her name is but she is also rude my mom used to work there and I overheard her talking with other employees about her. I wouldn't recommend this location at all and definitely would be careful when going to the giveaways just because you walk in with your mom they will question you like it is an interrogation even though I would see them give Kohl's cash to married couples who clearly live in the same household. Just so people understand when reading this the giveaway states that you get one per household and I wasn't breaking any of the rules for...

I recently had total knee surgery. I went shopping for a dress for Mother's Day. After an hour of exhausting walk through the store I went to make my purchase.

I was disappointed for TWO reasons...

1. the cashier was more interested in a conversation with her coworker next to her than serving me. This is not normally the case!

2. at the end of my purchase I asked how much Kohl's Cash in received, thinking it would be $20.00 because my total was over $100.00. it was then j was told the Kohl's cash is based in the SUB total of your purchase. Okay I understand. My subtotal was $96.45. it would have been nice IF the cashier had been attentive enough to "suggest" I make an additional purchase to earn the other $10.00!!!

Please TRAIN your cashiers to respect customers purchases and their time in selecting said purchases! It IS after all the customers'purchases that provide...
