They have so many cool things, but they need 21at century software and desperately need to train their employees! (Issue#1) About 5 weeks ago, we bought the top of the line chicken coup (about $1200). It was missing parts, and I had to go all the way back! The parts were bent! It was such a hassle. (Issue#2) We ordered fencing, then realized we didn't need it. After a big headache, they refunded the money, it was never picked up. (Issue#3) We ordered chicken wire, went in to pick it up, and were recharged for the other fencing, and it was loaded into the truck! Another trip back! (Issue #4) When we finally got chicken wire, we got home and started the project only to find they had put much smaller type than we had paid for! Now for ANOTHER trip back. We don't live in New Boston! It's not 10 or 15 minutes down the road! Sorry, Tractor Supply, I'm done! These issues have cost me a fortune in time, manpower, gasoline, and frustration! I'm done!!! We called ahead to make sure what fencing materials they had available. Got to the store and the employees tell us they don't carry what we're looking for, then go back to shooting the breeze with one another. I found this highly unprofessional. They didn't even bother to check what they had out back. So we informed them that we had just spoken with someone that said they did in fact carry fencing. At that time they finally found time to check and indeed located what we were looking for. I was upset that they nearly wasted my time when I did my due diligence by calling ahead and went there fully expecting to spend quite a bit of money. I ended up making my purchase there out of convenience even though they were short on how much I needed. They did call me though when more came in a week later. to be completely honest I had stopped in because I had needed change to be able to help a friend that needed it, so I asked the rather unpleasant man "who acted like he didn't want to deal with anybody in the first place", if he could help with helping my friend and he said he couldn't just give change, so I said okay do you have anything under a dollar and told me the cheapest thing they had was a candy bar! note that I am visually impaired and I mentioned this to the man before asking of anything under a dollar, but anyway after paying for my nearly three dollar milky way candy I was walking towards the door and"squinting really hard" I see a novelty item very close to the register for 79 cents! that experience ruined me for this...
