I went in to get a landline for my 91 year old mom. Very simple process. They were great. Until they weren't. I set it up so that I could be on the account also. I set it up for paper invoices to be mailed. My mom did not receive a paper bill and her line was deactivated. So I went back to this place. They said that I would have to go to a company store to get help. Really??? So I did. The company store showed me that they added a protection plan which I did not ask for or sign for. Who needs that for a landline box? They set the account up for paperless, again not what I asked for. Turns out they didn't even put me on the account! AND they charged me a set up fee! Different from the activation fee. I went back to the Russell store and asked for the money back since they didn't set it up correctly. I asked for a refund and he refused. I drove 30 minutes to a Verizon store that was owned by Verizon. They looked at the screen protector and said that it was not correct. However, since I purchased it from a non Verizon store, they could not help me. However, they called this place and told them that they put on the wrong screen protector. Once Verizon called this store, they agreed to correct their mistake. I then drove back 30 minutes and they replaced the screen. My bill went up; increased charges for extras I never asked for like insurance. Rep told me it was removed. They lied.
