My wife went to pick up food after ordering through the app. When she got home, she found out that there was food missing from her order. She called the restaurant to explain the situation, unfortunately, she called the wrong location and instead of calling the WestPointe location, she called the Walnut avenue. The manager at the Walnut location was excellent and immediately offer to make it right for her and replace the whole order. When she got to the WestPointe location, she tried calling to let them know that she was there to pick up the new order but then realized that she had originally called the wrong location. She then tried to call the WestPointe location but the line had a busy signal and she decided to knock on the door to get someone to help her. A young man came to assist her and she explained the situation. He asked her what items were missing and went back to the store. Right after, Nicole, one of the managers at this location, came out and questioned my wife on the situation. Nicole then proceeded to accuse her to want to get free food and questioned her integrity on the situation. Needless to say, my wife got really upset, she got the wrong order, drove 15 minutes there and back (TWICE) and then was treated as if she was trying to get a freebie- unbelievable! Not only did they mess up the order, but Nicole insulted her with her line of questioning and lack of good customer service. Very bad experience for what Chick-Fil-A stands for and its reputation. When she came home, I called the store and talked to Nicole and asked her to have the owner, Hal Leedy, give me a call. Sadly, he never called me back. We ended up having to call Chick-Fil-A corporate to get someone to call us, and after the second time that we called the corporate office, the WestPointe's location director of operations finally called back. He was very polite and apologetic and we appreciated that. Still disappointed that the owner didn't care to personally call and review the situation. I am familiar with Chick-Fi-A management and philosophy and it is surprising to see the lack of training, attention to detail and delay in addressing a...
Read moreLook... Chick-fil-A is in a category of its own as far as Quick-Service restaurants are concerned. So I am going to judge this Chick-fil-A against other Chick-fil-As because this one, though not absolutely up to the standards of other Chick-fil-As I have been to is still head and shoulders above anywhere else around.
As always, when I review a restaurant I use 3 criteria; Food, Service, and Cleanliness. The restaurant business really is simple.
We went in at 12:30 on a Wednesday. We were immediately greeted. And the service was Chick-fil-A quality throughout our visit. They get a 5 star on Service.
The food, even with it being lunch time was just ok (again, compared to other CFAs) it was not bad, was not cold, but also wasn't hot. Which was strange because if the time of day. 3 Stars for food.
The Cleanliness, here is where I had an actual issue and I hope someone from this restaurant reads this. We sat right next to where the plastic high chairs were stacked. They were very dirty. Like dirty enough to where if I had a kid with me, I wouldn't have put them in it. The legs had spillage all down them and they were stacked on top of each other. I don't want to give you the impression that this restaurant is dirty... It is not! The restrooms were Buc-ee's level clean and smelled great. The floors were clean and the booths and tables were clean, even though when we threw out trash away there was a stack of about 15 trays. (head scratcher here because they had to have taken that trash out since that stack started, why didn't they pick up the trays)
All in all, it was a good experience!...
Read moreI have no clue what’s up with Chick-fil-A the fast food chain used to be very pleasant to order from now it’s like I avoid Chick-fil-A now. I ordered my free coffee today and I waited like 10 minutes while all the other curbside orders received what they ordered I had to get off and get my coffee. The female employee didn’t even care when I went to ask her about my coffee she just pointed at my coffee and it was just sitting on the countertop just sitting there. She didn’t even care I had to get off I mean why would she I did her job for her. Chick-fil-A employees act like asking for more condiments is personally coming out of their paycheck forbid I ask for extra coffee creamer and sugar they want to give me attitude. Chick-fil-A is not what it used to be. Seems like they’re all slowly going downhill.
I am writing to clarify my review of your location. I waited curbside for around 10 to 15 minutes before I had to get off my car and ask for my coffee. While other curbside orders were being served promptly, I received semi-cold coffee with no sugar or creamer. When I requested creamers, I had to deal with an employee's bad attitude. Your response to my review was rude and unnecessary. I believe as the owner you should manage your store and not be dismissive of feedback. My other Chick-fil-A review that was mentioned was about the lack of condiments the food is always up to par. It is disappointing that you chose to focus on that aspect instead of addressing the issues I raised about my overall poor experience at your location. I'll make sure to add this poor response on my social...
