Painting with a Twist — Attraction in New Braunfels

Josie was an exceptional hostess! She was engaging, patient, and funny. Her instructions were clear and simple. In addition, she gave easy tips that had a significant impact on the quality of the finished painting without being overwhelming or technical for this novice enthusiast. I was really impressed how she was able to give suggestions to individuals to get them "unstuck" when they knew something wasn't right but had no idea how to move forward. I never felt she was giving us rote directions from a binder, but was actually painting with us, gently teaching us along the way. I've done a lot of events at Painting With A Twist, but this one, Floral Grace, has been, hands down, my absolute favorite event! I really loved the subject of the class since I'm a HUGE Frida Kahlo fan and had never seen a class like this offered before. I was even willing to drive from San Antonio to New Braunfels to attend it since this class wasn't offered in SA (which was kind of a surprise given the abundant Hispanic culture in our city!). And I'm so happy I did! Our instructor, Cecilia, was so sweet, funny and patient with all of the students, and there were all levels of experience in our group. And of course, I LOVE the end result! I'm the proudest of this painting because it was one that was the most enjoyable one...

We went here for part of my sisters bachelorette party, and we had such a great time! It was so much fun, and the bride to be really enjoyed herself which was so important to us! Our painting instructors were Veronica and Cecilia, and they did a wonderful job of keeping us all laughing and making sure we all had a good time.
