I recently received a parking ticket for parking in a "City Official Vehicle Only" spot, and I appealed the citation with solid evidence showing that non-city official vehicles frequently park in the same spot without receiving tickets. Despite presenting a clear argument based on due process and equal treatment under the Fourteenth Amendment, my appeal was denied without any meaningful justification. The refusal to acknowledge such evidence demonstrates not only unfair enforcement but also a lack of accountability in their appeal process.
