Las Tortas MX, Fowl Play & Burrito Loko — Restaurant in New Britain

I have ordered delivery through Uber eats many many times their food is so delicious I’m a loyal customer. But today I went inside the store for the very first time ever around approximately 12:00pm with my cousin. We come in we are standing there waiting to order.There was a guy in the front who can see us but doesn’t bother to tell us to wait a moment or doesn’t ask us what we wanted to order he was just too busy putting food into containers to acknowledge us. The staff in the back are there just cooking. Not looking at us. A guy comes from the back looks at us and turns his back to us and goes straight to the kitchen. We waited maybe 10 Minutes the place was pretty empty. We were just ignored. We had no choice but to leave and go to mofongos next door. I had to apologize to my cousin who is pregnant , for even suggesting to go into this place I explained that I have only order delivery from here and had never actually gone to the store and wasn’t aware of...

ABSOLUTELY will never order from here again!!! I ordered a couple of weeks ago and got the quesadilla through one of the delivery apps and when it arrived it was missing most of the sides, guac and lettuce being the ones I was looking forward to the most and it was so cold. Um you guys are 15 min away how is that possible. So anyway today I decided to give them a second chance and ordered the Taco Salad and the Lokos Nachos. I specifically asked for no beans for both. When my order arrives again the Nachos are missing ingredients ex. guac and lettuce. The Taco Salad was just a bean salad with sour cream and tomatoes because that definitely was not pico and to top it off it was cold again, both of them. I will not be wasting my money...

I want to shed light on a review that’s on here already, they are not listed under another name, they are in the building number 222. It looks like a regular apartment building or store front, but you have to go inside there to get to the restaurant. Aside from that, I had their birria quesadilla and it was flavorful. I just wished that they served it with some radishes or cucumbers, etc. also should be served with more than 1 piece of lime. Not even a full wedge. With that said, I will be returning. Those small things were not a deal breaker compared to the flavors in their meat and consommé. I did not rate the service and atmosphere because I was lazy and sent someone else in for me so I cannot review what I did...
