Terrible service, not friendly, Tons of over head, bunch of guys standing around, but they have a hiring sign so if you like to stand around and turn down customers this is the place for you. Prolly the only hardware store in town. LOL theses guys really suck. Couldn’t tell a 0 from a 1 so I would not expect them to know much about home improvement either maybe if they could shave their beards for the first time and their lives and look respectful it would change their demeanor. Nothing works in the store, the bathroom, the inventory, the employees nothing works it’s crazy. No wonder the world is that way it is cuz y’all are...

Beware..the young man that works there..does not know how to make keys..I had to make 3 trips there. Then they refunded me..and also blamed me and said it must be my key..lol. It definitely was not my fault..at all..Laporte store was great the young man there actually wanted to help after I told him about my experience in new buffalo. What do you know..all my keys worked. Laporte has my business. I will not be going to new buffalo. I can't believe the owner is...

The person that helped me out was helpful enough, just not very friendly. Must have been having a bad day. I’m glad they had what I wanted but I don’t think they much cared if you came back or not.

I’d just like to add that not one employee had on a mask even though they are required in public spaces. I just think that is so disrespectful to others not to mention selfish. Why support a local business if they can’t make the effort to...
