I came to the CVS in New Carrollton to have my passport photo taken, but I was treated like garbage. The attendant told me that the machine was not working. She spun my head with some story about how the computer was frozen, because someone ordered too much papers. I asked to speak to the manager, but she told me that the manager was taking out the trash. I waited for 45 minutes, during which time I had to keep reminding her that I am waiting. Then I went out of the store, to the back of the store, where the dumpsters are located, so that I can find the manager, but to my surprise, there was no one out there. I came back into the store and told her that there is no one out there. Around this time, she could start to sense that my patience was running out. So she went to the photo computer and took my passport photo. I was shocked that the computer worked all along, so I got out my phone and started recording the interaction from then. She did not have a name tag, and she would not give me her name I asked her why she put me through all of this, and lie to me about the machine not working. She had a very nasty attitude with me. At that time, someone by the name of Thomas came out, so I went to ask him to get the manager for me, he too got smart with me. And he told me that he is the manager, although his name tag indicated that he was a customer service agent. I told him everything that had happened, and he made up a cock-and-bull story about how CVS has a daily plan, and so on. I have to report this issue, and hope that someone would reach out to me, so that I can better explain what is going on at that location. This was incredibly a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGot off work early after working 14hrs to pick up my prescription that makes me able to move and walk without pain. I tried to call ahead at 8:40 to make sure they would still be open when I got there, but the phone was never answered.. Arrived at 9:05, lights were still on in the pharmacy and I could see multiple employees in the back. Politely asked if they would get me my prescription, only to be laughed at and given no response. I ask again, this time explaining my situation, and one guy started mocking me, while the lady told me that they āarenāt allowedā. I know thatās untrue because Iāve been in similar situations at other CVS locations and have never had any issues. I went to talk to the employees in the front of the store and they asked their manager to help me. Even the manager could not get them to help me, suggesting I go to a different CVS 30 minutes away, when I can literally see my prescription in its bag behind the counter. At this point Iām crying because theyāre being incredibly rude and mean to me, and Iāve had a very long night. This is the worst customer service Iāve ever received and those pharmacy employees deserve to be fired. I do plan on taking this up with your corporate office and I sincerely hope those people are never involved in healthcare ever again, they are vile and disgusting and they are disappointments to their mothers. Shout out to the two floor employees that were very kind to me and helped me calm down before driving, I wish I had gotten their names so I could thank them personally but this will have to do. Avoid this pharmacy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis pharmacy is the worst. They need to hire more people. This is my third incident before writing this review. Some of the pharmacy staff is very nice and some arenāt so nice. I canāt blame the ones who are nice because they are working with what they have. The nasty ones need to learn how to handle pressure as a customer service personnel. It doesnāt matter what your position is or job title or which company you work for you are always in the business of customer service or employee service focused. If you are in HR your behavior should be pleasant because you are representing the company and providing a service to the staff. If you are a cashier, you are providing a service to outside customers. If they are not paying you enough and you feel like you are too good for the job then you should have not taken the position, leave the job for someone else who really needs it. Now on to the second topic. This pharmacy is no more busier than any other pharmacy. So I donāt understand why medications are not ready 6-7 hours later after the doctor send in the prescription. Thatās is almost a full shift. CVS needs to do better hire more people or set the hours back to what they use to be. This closing the pharmacy and the store is still open...
