I just went in to switch my phone over and while my service switch went okay, I am leaving this review because I was made to feel quite unwelcome. I visited during regular operating hours, and the service I requested I knew would be quick and simple, it took less than ten minutes. When I came in there were three carts for trash outside the door blocking it, so I do understand they might have had a chore they were trying to do. However as a retail manager and employee myself, I know that the trash is not prioritized over company business with clientele. During my time, I was working with Ruby while another gentleman waited for her to finish my phone switch. What should not have been a big deal was made to be one, as I was interrupted multiple times, had to listen while Ruby apologized to her coworker for me being in there causing a potential delay in him leaving or doing the trash, and heavy sighs while they tried transferring my phone over. My partner even asked part way through what time they normally close, she said 8 pm. It was just past 6 pm.
I am sorry but you do not treat customers like they are a burden while they are transacting business in your store. The service was quick and prompt but the professionalism was not appropriate...
Read moreI came to the store Friday wanting to switch providers, in the beginning I asked for the 50$ plan - I went online to check out beforehand seen the deals going on. Well I was charged for the $70 plan and did not realize til I got home and checked the receipt . Luis did not consult me with anything basically threw a phone to me and charged the up most and later found out when I got a call from Metro because my plan was still pending that he also has added a bunch of add ons that were never mentioned nor asked for...I was scammed. Literally no communication was involved no help which is not ok . Yes the phone is nice , but don't take advantage of a female that's by herself and on the phone getting all the transfer info not paying attention at the time . And if I ask for a case don't assume I want every accessory with it. I came to Metro because someone was telling me about the good plans for low price....I didn't expect to walk out the store loosing out on $170 when I only wanted a $50 plan and free phone . I shouldn't have spent more then $100 . STOP SCAMMING TO PUT MORE MONEY IN...
Read more6/28/25 I went because my Samsung A15 the screen got smashed I'm really disappointed with the service there I'm trying to get a phone and the person there was on his phone I didn't get my phone working when I left I had to do something that's what he told me before I left the store went home call my last provider to work on my phone if it was because customer service texted me I would still won't have a phone now they are the worst people didn't had a phone for a couple of days and only wanted a phone they charged me $143 he said that the lowest plan was $170 that's a lie because I've been with metro other times is only the most like around $55 I was ROB but I took it because I needed now I don't have MONEY for my self left I only get paid monthly taking advantage of everyone that goes...
