This one of the first reviews I have ever left an establishment before but I am so tired of going into this store and having rude interactions with the employees. I understand if you’re having a bad day one day but to have gone in here multiple times this past year and interacting with the rudest employees is just unnecessary and quite frankly unacceptable in a retail store. I hate to say it. Today when I went to return Amazon packages in the store I waited for a bit for the lady in the back to stop chatting with her coworker to come help the line that was forming behind me. When I went up to the counter to show her my return she pointed to a sign and stated “read”. I’m sorry ready what? What’s going on? “Go to tech” I’m sorry what is tech and where is it? “Read the sign” Ok I’ve read it but where is tech I’m not familiar with it. Points to front and says “there”. I’m sorry where is there? Up front, in back, left or right… Honestly one of the rudest people I’ve dealt with in retail and I just had to write a review because then tech up front was also very rude. I don’t get it? Why even hold a job if you can’t perform it correctly or at least be decent/nice to another human being. It’s literally the least you can do. Read moreI gave three stars because this place has always been my go to in new london ct to ship stuff but after today I think I may just go out the way to Groton or Norwich. They must have changed the system they use to ship cuz this was my first time doing it the way I was told. But I was asking the lady in the back with very short hair and some blond high lights for help and the rudeness from her was so in called for I never in my life dealt with such nastiness at this location I was shocked I asked for help and she through me a little card I told her ur very rude she said have a good day so I went to try and do what the card said witch did not work at all and changed me for a blank paper I went back and she was like if u need help go to the front like I said have a good day I was baffled I said mama I don’t understand what I need to do she then said it again have a good day and shooed me away. So I went to the front where I asked for a manager witch is why I gave three stars cuz she was so nice I believe her name was heather she even had me send her the label and printed it for me so I didn’t have to go to the back again and was so sweet and this is what I normally get when going there so thanks to her I was able to ship my package and why 3 * was given but as for that other lady I don’t think she is in the right professional. Read moreLike others, I found this store to be not friendly to those wishing to process amazon returns. I tried to process an amazon return at 1pm on a Saturday, obviously prime time for people who work M-F and do errands on the weekend. The stre manager very smugly informed me that they "Had to perform several hours of maintenance on their Amazon systems and it would be down until at least 5 pm." It might have been believable had he not been smirking the entire time. He also insisted that this was something Amaon had scheduled, not something they chose, and that all Saples locations were going to be doing the same updates/maintenance at the same time. I called another store to find out if I could process the return there instead, and they were ready and able to help me. The other store told me that the maintwindow was NOT dictates by Amazon and that thegnotnsupposed to do such updates at times that are inconvenient to cuatomers. Clearly, this staples location does not value their customers and does not want to process amazon returns. Maybe they should consider a change in management to a team that respects the customers and tries to meet their needs rather than taking pride in being as inconvenient...
