Spark is more than just a community center, they are a nonprofit organization run by really talented members. They provide woodworking, stained glass, a fiber arts studio, screen printing, and an electronics studio to the New London area.
They offer a lot of different activities and levels of engagement for people to test the waters before diving into a membership. The classes cover a wide range of skill levels and subjects from drawing to learning how to 3d print.
The members organize open studio nights and socials where visitors and members can come in and work on projects and meet the community.
I've been able to take a lot of classes here and join in on a lot of socials. I appreciate that classes for members are kept as affordable as possible.
