My new fav pub! Old style place in a historic neighborhood, wish I lived near this joint. Was heading up to Boston and was in the mood for a pint and burger. Ellie was a very friendly and great bartender, had the clam chowder and burger. And even got some soup to go for my kid which tells you how good it was! A very cool cook ( sorry didn’t get his name) who clearly enjoys his craft. Can’t wait to try his chili.
Nov 2025 update. Had the chili twice over the last year, excellent flavor, took some home ( to Boston) both times, that says something ! Had the RI chowder today for the first time, very clean and flavorful, not as creamy as the New England variety but really liked the consistency and clams, took a bowl home ( again 😎) and my kid loved it.
