Ring's End — Local services in New Milford

Unfortunately I’ve been having some issues in New Milford Store, if I place an order by phone when I go there to pick it up, the paint is not ready. I’m a subcontractor and also have my own company, which means I order a good amount of paint regularly.

Just yesterday I placed an order by phone, 2 1/2 hours later I went to pick it up and the guy there ignored me, when I finally asked him about my paint, he didn’t even know what I was talking about. But sadly even there he went back to do whatever he was doing and completely forgot I was there.

I had to leave the store without my order. Good customer service is lacking there.

I’ve been in business for quite a long time now and my experience in Rings End in Bethel and Danbury is totally different.

The guys there are fast, very friendly, we have a good relationship, they know me by my name, they’re always on top of things. As soon as I get there they help me all the time, and if they’re busy at least you know they will be with you as soon as they can. But honestly, is been years and I never got any complaint.

The only reason I buy in New Milford is because I moved to this town recently. Otherwise I rather go...

Absolutely wonderful customer service at Ring's End in New Milford CT. 'Gail Urso' the kitchen and bath designer worked diligently to create a kitchen design from my 'wish list' that was awesome. Her design expertise and excellent communication (verbally and via email) was great. She also worked to reduce the overall cost of the design. I can't thank her enough for her time and energy as this was a tedious process. Gail - thank you for being so professional and welcoming. If in the future I'm able to continue with the project she would be my first choice designer. Love Ring's End...

Would score higher if they would stop raising their prices as much. Paint prices in particular. They need to offer other brands of paint besides Ben Moore. BM now has a virtual monopoly at Rings End. if they had more diversity in product lines the paint manufacturers would not have a lock and would need to compete for the business. Supply has been a problem a great deal also. And the general reaction has been to raise prices. The store motto should be changed to A Reliable Source of Disappointment! Hope for better days...
