just moved here and never been to an Aldi before but a few neighbors recommended it so we decided to try it out. When we go inside and I don't see any carts but I see a woman just about to leave and I go to use her cart when a cashier runs up and starting schooling me on how I need to understand this is the cashiers cart and how I have to get my own. Then he goes on to say if you don't have a quarter then I'll give you one and he slams a quarter in my hand like I'm poor and can't afford to rent a stupid shopping cart! This man, short older white guy with a grey pony tail, embarrassed me and my family to no end today. I threw the quarter back at him and told him we were leaving, immediately he was like oh no don't, but we left anyway. I can't believe how nasty and condescending this person was to me and my family today. We drove five minutes away to stop and shop and spent $500 there instead.
