Kohl's — Local services in New Philadelphia

My family shopped last weekend at the New Philadelphia, OH Kohl's. We parked at Marshall's at the mall parking lot and eventually walked through the mall entrance to Kohl's. After we completed our purchase at 7:07 we were informed that the entrance to the mall just closed 7 minutes prior. No one told us that the door was closing when we first entered and there wasn't even a warning message overhead on the speaker. I asked if the cashier could open the door for us to leave through the mall and she said she couldn't because it was store policy not to re-open it. I asked for the manager and she said the same thing in a very absolute manner. It is unconscionable that we were left no option other than to walk outside, for 10 minutes in 24 degree weather with our baby in a stroller just to get back to our car all because of a "policy.” I am so disappointed that Kohl’s policies obviously are more important than their "past" customers because I cannot believe how we were treated and I am not sure we will be back. Unlocking the mall door...

If you take a return back too kohl's for a exchange and they don't have it in stock they make you order and charge it to your account then when it comes in you get to go back too the store do the exchange and the will credit your account does this make any sense at all? Why can't they order it to their store and put it in there stock and just call you when it comes in..sooo tired of dealing with there nonsense!! And you get NO where with customer service they tell you the same thing..they can't order it too there store until its paid for so why does the customer have too pay for it again when still not credited the first transaction and get to be charged a second time for a defective item. Why can't they just order it too there store and let me come and exchange it!! No they make it difficult for...

Unfortunately the selection for clothing, purses, shoes, etc. has gone downhill. If you're in a pinch for something you need to try on or have immediately it'll do. They do have free shipping to store so you can check the whole online selection (but then you're waiting anyway). The prices are decent, especially with coupons. Store is pretty clean with nicer restrooms. It ends into the main mall area. It would still get 5 stars for me if it were more like when it first came to the mall. I do love that it has a small Sephora in it though! It's the only one around...
