Not sure how anyone could give Louise and Canal Street Chic anything but a 5 star plus rating. Helen Mirren said it best, I'd rather drink an expensive glass of champagne and wear a consignment dress. Canal Street Chic is a little like candy land or being in the middle of a big room full of all kinds of treasures. Indiana Jones couldn't have more fun than I do when I go shopping at Canal Street Chic. I never ooohhh and awwww more than when I spy something I simply can't live without. High End describes the goods, First Class describes Louise. Her sometimes off color glib way of viewing the world makes me forget all my worries. Nothing outside seems important when I Shop at Canal Street Chic. It is way cheaper and way more fun than going to a therapist. It is simply 'MY HAPPY PLACE'. I could and do spend hours there. My greatest compliments come from people who marvel at the zany and fun outfits I find at Louise's shop. And shoes baby, diamonds, simply diamonds. I have shopped here on several occasions and I always find something great. The owner is very attentive to her customers and she knows what is in her shop and she has excellent style and taste. She is very helpful when I’ve been trying things on and helping to find something that looks good on my figure. I love this consignment shop! It has so many great high end items for a fraction of the price. There is a variety of clothing from dressy evening wear to cute summer clothes. There is also a good selection of beautiful purses, shoes and boots. The staff are very friendly and the owner has an eye for what will look great on you.
