The owner rented us a dress, a crown, and a skirt hoop for my sister’s quinceañera. My sister’s godmother got them but did not check the items before paying the deposit. It wasn’t until the day of the party that we noticed the crown and the skirt were dirty and damaged. Now that we are returning the items, they won’t return the deposit because they keep insisting that we damaged the items. They were the ones who glued jewels back on the crown AND gave us a dirty skirt hoop. Aside from this, the owner is a horrible racist. She told us to our faces that she avidly hated Mexico so not proving asylum to her and other traveling immigrants. We are Mexican, and to here this discrimination from another Latino is shameful. This entire business and its owner is disgusted. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE, SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Edit: 1. We were told that everything rented was supposed “new”, which is not true at all We could the items were used 2. We returned the crown the way they gave it to use, with jewels glued on. The claim that we “broke” is absolutely false and we have proof. 3.Lastly, regardless of being owned and operated by immigrants, it is clear immigrants are still capable of being racist toward immigrant clients. 4. The owner’s response is extremely biased and can be proven wrong with lots of evidence, even their own camera footage. She claims t “not know me” yet she knows exactly what I’m talking about. A truly seamless experience! The staff are super helpful and their inventory is to die for! My daughter and I were looking for a Sweet Sixteen dress for her photo session but didn’t want to purchase a large dress to just have it stored. We decided to come to this shop and were very please with the quality and variety of dresses available. We decided on a lilac dress. The rental included crown and bouquet of choice. My daughter really looked like a princess and we were more than satisfied with the full experience. The dress return was quick and we were in and out in less than 15 mins. Today I experienced the worst service.I came to this dress shop hoping to find my dream dress but instead my family got disrespected and was given attitude by the owner and the young lady working there they had horrible service they wanted us to wait outside instead we stayed waiting inside for 40 min no one helped us and the young lady came walking towards us didn’t help instead gave us nasty looks the owner I assume was giving attitude to my aunt wanting to have the reason and was responding bitter and giving unnecessary responses and ruined my experience of hoping to find my dress.
