Ordered from the app “Too Good To Go”, an app that works to end food waste. As someone who can’t afford groceries all the time, I was looking forward to my order from here all day (and didn’t have much to eat either). When I went to go pick it up, I showed my order receipt and the man who i’m assuming is the owner started accusing me of bringing in a screenshot of an old order. I went through the entire app, showed the order date and went to my orders to show proof. He wouldn’t give me my food, I asked if I could just have my food and go and he started screaming at me. Luckily, I assuming it’s his family but two women came out to handle the situation. He left and they saw my receipt and order date, and packed up my food for me. They were telling me how they aren’t paid well and how they’ve lost money through the app, and I even offered to pay extra as someone who is a literally workplace rights organizer. Read moreLet me tell you, the people who work here know what they are doing. First off, either the owner or manager calls me Reina every time I step in there and they are all just so kind. It has a very Colombian homey vibe, and the food is absolutely delicious. I've gone there a few times already but what truly steals the show are the empanadas for me, every time. They are sooooo freaking good, with a little soupy-potatoey ness inside, and healthy amount of meat. I love coming here!

Read moreLiterally one of the best meals I have ever had in my entire life. I cannot talk enough about how excellent this place is. Luis is extremely kind, caring, and accommodating. The food is amazing. Every single ingredient is very fresh. The best jugo I have ever had, and the ground beef was nothing short of phenomenal. My Colombian fiancé says this food would be excellent anywhere in Colombia. We’re from Northern California, but we might have to move to Queens just to be closer to Parador Caleño....
