Strange service offering for a high end gift shop. The items on offer were unique and interesting. I found many items of interest. Bought two. However, few had prices and when I asked at the staff they seemed more interested in their internal conversation than helping. I was clearly a distraction. And if I am not mistaken it is a gift shop - e.g. for gifts. But when I asked for a bag "That's $2" - how about gift wrap? "yes - for sale in the back." Odd - since we're there to buy gifts. Contrast this with The Brick - Arts and Gifts located on Vanderbilt. Not only did they offer to gift wrap, they asked me which of 5 papers and ribbons to choose...
Read moreI can’t say I’ve ever had a a very good experience in this place. ever. And I’ve shopped often. The folks who work here are always mad at you for some reason??? I think I’ve spent a couple hundred over the past year or so but my last interaction was just terrible and weird.
Everyone they hire is unfortunately so painfully rude...Last time I came in, the front cashwrap girl was “trying” to be kind…? but she used the most sarcastic borderline psychotic voice and tone with us, we left feeling creeped out. Never again. Bad vibes all around....
Read moreI was looking for a specific book for my fiance for Christmas and after looking everywhere (and only able to find copies selling for over $100), I finally found that A.MANO had it in stock for a very reasonable price. I ordered it, keeping in mind it may not make it in time because I know how shipping can be this time of year. It made it to me in 2 days! It was very well packaged and came with a personalized thank you note. Wish I lived closer so I could come visit, but either way I'll continue to support them from afar! Thank you...
