Dean Playground — Attraction in New York

This place needs some love and attention but has a lot to offer. The astro turf seems pretty run down and like it could be replaced. There were traffic cones around holes that need to be addressed. That being said, we brought our students here for a lunch break and they had a good time. There’s a playground for younger children in addition to a basketball court and the expansive astro turf. A very sorry playground and sports field. Rats are everywhere. Astroturf needs to be replaced. Needs new play equipment. With the amount of new $$$ housing by major developers, surrounding this little play-space, one would think an upgrade is in order. The community needs this open space for play and recreation.
