I have not had the pleasure of spending time in this park, but I am grateful that it is a place where people can gather and have fun. The purpose of writing this review is to explain my family's story. Before I was born, my father owned a piece of property where this park now lays. He worked two jobs to maintain it. He rented the upstairs to my mother's family and it's where he met my mom. They had their first child, my sister. Then things turned for the worse. My mom suffered from post partum depression and a slew of other mental health issues due to abuse from her family. My mom ended up in the psych ward and my dad a broken man. He stopped working and eventually lost the house. They became homeless and then I and my brother were born. I went back to find the place, but found it was knocked down, but there was another dilapidated home left on the spot. It eventually was knocked down and the park was built. As bittersweet it is for me to see it gone, it's also wonderful to see it being put into good use in an area that can attract nature in the city. For that I am truly grateful to the Creator for His bountiful Love. As for me, well, God had a great plan for me coming from a truly humbled situation and now I get to live in a lovely wood stick home in CT. I wish my parents and grandma were alive for them to live here despite the losses they endured. So enjoy the beautiful park where so much joy can be had now that the sorrow is gone. Enjoy the beautiful gift given to you and know that God had a greater plan for the former inhabitants. Life is precious. Make every moment joyful and with a heart full of love and happiness to be shared with others. Stay blessed Brooklyn. I love you Brooklyn and...
Read moreI am the home owner next to the tennis court. We have to deal with the tennis balls coming over and landing on our deck. We have to deal with rude people climbing the fence onto our property. People asking us throw the balls back. People ringing my door bell asking us to return their balls. There are signs asking them not to bothered the homeowners but they all have faded and unreadable. They need to be replaced. I so tired . 😫 Filing a complaint...

Right outside the gates is a sprinkler and a turf area with benches. No rest rooms but I recently saw Porter potties out( not sure if that's permanent) oh and an adjoining...
