I bought a Groupon package of 1 year of unlimited laser hair removal treatments here in June 2024, redeemed in August 2024. I have done 6 sessions so far with no problems, the experiences were great with Irina as my tech all 6 times. Alice, the office manager always greeted me so warmly. However, on 5/23/25, when I tried to continue using this package, I was denied. There was a tech there that I have never seen before and Alice, Irina, nor NP Tony were not in the office. The tech asked me if I wanted to buy 1 more session or buy another package. I was confused because I said that I have a Groupon package that I am continuing to use. She looked a little confused or caught off guard. She then asked to see my email receipt, I showed her it and she looks at it. Then she continues to say no, this Groupon is for 6 sessions only and I have used up all 6 sessions already. I said but it says it's for unlimited sessions for 1 year. Then she says yea but even when I asked Alice before, she said this Groupon is for 6 sessions. In my head I'm thinking, so if you asked the manager before about this, then why did you look confused when I told you I was using a Groupon package as if you were not expecting me to? Anyways, I told her that I was never told beforehand by Irina OR Alice that this package would be for 6 sessions only, and it clearly says in my email receipt this is for 1 year of unlimited sessions of laser hair removal. This tech then says to me that yea but unlimited sessions doesn't mean you can do laser for forever. I was so appalled because I never said I was going to do this forever, I said it was for unlimited sessions for ONE YEAR. Based on the spacing between sessions of 4-6 wks, I would've had 2-3 more sessions left. She tried to make it sound like I didn't know what this Groupon meant. Additionally, she said also, based on the the price of the Groupon I paid (because it shows how much I paid in the email receipt), this package is for 6 sessions only. I was silent at this point, I was so stunned because what does the price I paid have anything to do with how many sessions it is for? You pay for what the groupon says it is for, which is for UNLIMITED number of sessions for ONE YEAR! If you have ever browsed Groupon packages, there is a spectrum of prices for the same product. Different places offer different prices for "6 sessions of laser hair removal on a small area", for example. Also, if it was for 6 sessions, the package itself would clearly say "6 sessions". So the price I paid does not represent WHAT I paid for. The tech said she also sent a picture of my groupon to Alice to ask about it (this is while I was still at the office), and the tech said Alice confirmed this was for 6 sessions. Which I am so surprised by, because all the times I have been there, Alice did not tell me this. If this was true, on the 6th time I was there, she would've (or should've) said, this is my last session of the Groupon. Which is still incorrect, because my package literally says it is for unlimited sessions, as you can see in the picture attached!! At this point, the tech said what we can do is offer you 1 more touch up session free of charge. And at this point I was so angry that I said no thank you and just left. I could not trust she would do this "free touch up session" properly after this back and forth we had. I am very disappointed in this facility after this experience, especially because I had no problems before this, Irina the other tech and Alice have always been so warm and welcoming. The tech did not know about this Groupon package I had and continued to say I was incorrect in thinking this package was for UNLIMITED sessions for ONE YEAR. One more thing to add on, she was very unprofessional in having her vape sit out on the desk. You call this a MEDICAL spa which has a health care provider on site, a NURSE PRACTITIONER. I do not care what you do or not do, but at least have it in your bag or not in clear view in a medical office. This is highly unprofessional and not a good representation of...
