Starbucks — Restaurant in New York

Waited a long time for the drinks, they literally have one person working to the bone for their iced drinks. One of the two drinks came out and it was made well, 30 minutes of waiting the other drink still wasn’t out. I notified the staff and they put the missing drink in the queue. It was basically ice and water. I would title this place the “DMV of Starbucks”. Based on long wait and huge lines. But in all honesty I’d rather be at the DMV. By the time your drink is out you would have ordered an espresso machine. While I give this place a single star, the lady in the back making all the iced drinks works like a robot, I can see the passion and hard work that she puts into making the drinks. I would give her five stars. The problem with this place is that they put the weight of the entire place on her shoulders, and everyone else is just handing out straws or doing other things. This place has a very high volume of customers, they need at least 3 more workstations and 3 more people making...

I have gone there about 15-20 mornings now that i have lived here and get the same thing every time Tall Red Eye dark roast no room for cream and no sugar so it is really hard to screw that up and they never have. The only reason i dont give this starbucks 5 stars is not their fault, they are located across the street from New Dorp High school and unless you get there really early you have a line to the door with kids waiting to get their lame coffee drinks still not sure how kids this age are getting 100$ a month from their parents for coffee but i digress. It seems like the best employees are in the morning or maybe the most are working at that time because it will take the same amount of time in the morning with 20 kids in front of you as it does around 8pm with 6 adults in front of you. I’ve been coming to this starbucks ever since I started going to new dorp hs (2017) and knew this place ran slow but today was a completely different experience. I mobile ordered a hot carmel macchiato at 8:10 am since I work nearby at 8:30 am. I waited 10 mins and asked one of the baristas if the drink was ready yet and she said it may take a while. Asked again a few mins after and she said that there is no drink for my name and everyone looked super confused . I confirm the locations and pick up time and they had blank faces. I had to refund my whole order and mind you the other peoples drinks in front of me were screwed up as well. That’s what happens when you let one guy do all the drinks and clearly he has no idea what he’s doing. Come on starbucks- DO BETTER and hire better staff. Or at least train them to work under rush hours...
