Rarely do I feel compelled to leave reviews, but Alex’s Jewelry messed up my watch so badly that I have to warn others of the serious risks of bringing jewelry to them for repair.
My Fossil watch was in otherwise great condition when I asked Alex's Jewelry to fix an issue with moisture getting inside. Hosam informed me that they could fix the moisture problem. However, after "fixing" it, the watch kept having the same problem. So I brought it back a second time. Yet the same issue happened again. So I returned a third time and when they presented my repaired watch to me, it had visible moisture beads inside. So Hosam told me that they'd send it out to their technician to fix. However, when it was returned to me, my watch's dial was severely chipped, the glass was badly scratched, and the date window was completely different in appearance. Hosam then tried to explain that I wasn’t supposed to have seen the watch yet and that he was checking whether Fossil had an identical replacement dial (which they did not), though he told me that I would have to bear the cost of the new dial. He also asserted that the chipping was a common side effect of moisture repair and relinquished accountability for the scratched glass because their technician claimed that the scratches were there to begin with (in reality, the glass was in perfect shape when I brought my watch in). Hosam tried to mitigate the situation by refunding me $45 that I paid the first time to bring my watch in for repair. He also said that the value of a "new" motion the technician installed essentially offset the aesthetic damages to my watch. But just a few days later this new motion (which, according to Hosam, was an $80 value) completely stopped working.
My watch is now chipped, scratched, and no longer tells time (i.e. completely unwearable), but no matter how much or how politely I asked Hosam to do just a little bit more to help make things right, he wouldn't budge. No, he told me, he wasn't going to cover a replacement dial. No, he wasn't going to fix the scratches on the glass. No, he wasn't going to refund me any additional money. In fact, he told me that he believed that Alex's Jewelry had done its best work.
It is clear that Alex's Jewelry has no idea what they’re doing in their handling of watches. Time and again I was astonished at their negligence. After months of patience, I feel truly robbed for the amount of time and effort required of me, not to mention the complete loss of a sentimental piece of jewelry.

When it was my turn to customize my ring, I sent Sam inspiration images, and he executed my vision flawlessly. I could not be happier with the result. Sam’s commitment to assisting us and addressing any questions or concerns was unwavering.

Not only did he make me feel comfortable, but it really felt like he was working with me and not trying to just get my money.
