Unfortunately the problem is not the Dr. she is an extraordinary human being that cares about her patient’s need. I happen to love her very much. But Noelia the receptionist is very rude. I’ve been on the medical field for 31 yrs and never treated a patient the way she does:(. That receptionist is very disrespectful by not greeting the patients with a smile and welcoming attitude. It looks like she wishes no one came to the office. When a pt goes to a Dr. the first impression is the one that counts. I am a pt that’s afraid to go to doctors, thank God I’m pretty healthy but wanted to go for a physical, but was afraid. I called the office a wk ago to make an appointment, she gave me the appointment without asking me for the insurance, when I Come walked to the counter, I looked a her and said my name and that i had a 4pm appointment. She is so rude, did not look at me to greet me at all, just said sign there, so I did and seat down after she made me wait to hen asked me if I had a different insurance I said yes and gave it to her. After checking she says to me unfortunately we don’t accept your insurance if you want to be seen you must pay. Honestly I wouldn’t had mind paying, but her attitude was so nasty that I felt so disrespected. Sad because Alma is a great Dr. but i can’t take the poor treatment of her...

The review is based on the following. The receptionist was highly detached both before and after the appointment. I attempted to provide an update of my medical health including the the recent status of my blood work. I have several medical diagnosis including Diabetes and GERDS. She appeared to have her own agenda by immediately focusing on my weight. I attempted to address the efforts regarding my food plan. The key factor of my assessment includes the following in that she did not return any of my telephone calls regarding an error she made in the dosage of my medication which was sent to my local Pharmacist. If did not procure the assistance of another physician, I would have been forced to go to the ER to correct her error. I felt she devalued my knowledge of my medical issues and all efforts I made to address them. This was a horrific experience and I would never return on under any condition.UPDATE Upon reading your response NP Mesquita, I submit the following information. Hi I'm writing this review beacuse I saw most of the reviews and what I saw some of them were very rude and I didn't like what I saw at all First of all nothing is free at America !! I've been seeing dr. Mesquita since 2017 and all I have to say is that she treats her patients like her family she so respectful and very correct on her job I was there last year I had an infection and after she gave me a pill it worked less than an hour if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be here writing She saved my life She also saved a lady's life she came in couldn't breath beacuse she had an allergic reaction As soon as she saw her she acted immediately made her vomit her juice so she could breath gave her morphine and called 911 And even though I didn't have appointment sometimes I didn't wait too much It's obvious when you walk in you have to wait Words can't be enough what I have to say for her She's simply the best doctor I have ever seen She's a rock star...
