Almaz Bros do absolutely incredible work and I feel so lucky to have found them. Ralph and Yuri are very transparent and straightforward with pricing, super helpful and patient, never pushy or trying to make a sale, and so so friendly. They have made two different pieces for me — The first was a necklace containing two diamonds from old family rings. They did an amazing job of suggesting a design that would include the two differently sized diamonds and the final necklace was perfect. The second was a custom engagement ring and it came out beautifully. They were very helpful with sourcing diamonds and creating the perfect setting. My fiancee and I had been to other bigger name jewelers in the city and the experience felt so impersonal and clinical. My fiancé and I went into Almaz to start shopping for wedding bands about a month ago. I had an idea of what I wanted for mine to go with my engagement ring, but we were really looking to just browse and get a better sense of what we were looking for when we went in. I ended up finding a ring that I really liked, but it needed to be adjusted to go with my engagement ring and it also needed to be made in platnium to match (the original was gold). Ralph was very creative and helpful when designing how the ring would look and they had it ready within a few weeks! It’s beautiful!!!! So unique, I have never seen a ring like this before anywhere! I bought a broken down Must de Cartier watch in pieces from a thrift store. My boyfriend decided to see if it could be fixed and took it to Almaz Brothers. I just received the now working and polished watch back today and I cannot recommend their work enough. They inserted a missing jewel from the crown, carefully cleaned and polished the entire watch, fitted a band and it looks amazing and works perfectly. Many jewelers would have said that it was not worth fixing a quartz watch in such poor condition. Almaz Brothers did an exceptional job for a very fair price and now the piece can continue to be used for many years. Will definitely use them again.
