I was visiting from DC and kind of wandered in, where I was greeted by Elizabeth. This place is kind of special. They have herbal remedies, essential oils, charming plants, and stones and crystals, as well as teas and other drinks. But more important they are really lovely people. Elizabeth (at least I think that’s her name) really knew her stuff. She helped me choose some mushroom tintures. When we talked about elderberry she was ready to tell me how to make my own syrup. I asked if they had any for sale. She said that they did but it was really easy to make your own. Clearly they care more about helping people get to good health then making a dollar. She and her friends were also just delightful and charming. By the time I left, I had my mushroom stuff, plus the elderberry, a warm cup of golden milk on the house and a list of the neighborhood’s best restaurants.
