Greenpoint Playground — Attraction in New York

I literally grew up in this park. This place had a large swing set for adults and a beautiful and more fun jungle gym when I was young. They redid the park and added sprinklers in around 2002. I lived through the construction. It’s been 20 years and this place is not taken care of. The mats lift and flood. The paint is chipping off everywhere. It’s just not fun/clean or safe anymore. The ground is uneven and kids trip because the tree roots have grown. I’ve been waiting for this park to get a makeover....

Worst park ever. Pigeon poop everywhere. Really old playground stuff that needs to get an overhaul and cleaned. This park should be broken down and build a brand new one. Also lots of marijuana smoking. The smoke enters the playground and kids smell it. People bring their dogs in the playground area and allow them to poop and pee on the trees inside...
